Getting sick of this issue this generation. Hogwarts, Ragnarok which is awful around bodies of water, HFW, and Cyberpunk amongst others. I thought it was my TV at first but its not it is TAA and it should be raised by a lot more by people because it is so distracting when turning the camera on games.

Thank you so much for this video. I play on Series S and on both Fidelity and Performance I get this issue, but it looks worse - mostly outside where there's vegetation around. I play on a LG Nanocell 2022 and what I did to "minimize" this was: turn off game mode, turn off allow low letancy in Xbox settings, I put HDR on Intense and enable TruMotion (smooth motion). No, it didn't cause me a lot of imput lag, or any if I really think about it. I also turned off all the other AI quality setttings on my tv. Waiting for a patch, but I left this comment here, maybe it helps someone.
Hi, thanks for the info, yes some TV settings and faster response times can cause ghosting, it's ok to keep them off for offline games as they won't add much input lag, but yeah, most of it comes from the game itself, hope they fix it!
I've found out turning the sharpness of your TV up significantly (I'm testing 20 on an LG Oled atm) my eyes seem to have it easier to process depth information, reducing the dizzyness/ tiredness the game caused me. Maybe this helps other people too.
TAA is the worst. I had to stop playing ragnarok also because of it. Its just something to get used to unfortunately in order to play all these modern games.
The trick is disabling any "motion flow" option/feature on your TV/Monitor. There's an option called like that on my Sony Bravia. Turned it off and the ghosting effects disappeared.
This ghosting effect is also noticiable in horozon forbidden west and gow ragnarok. The weird reflections are a lot worse in forbidden west, that game is a complete mess on ps5

Hi Daniel! 😊 si, ghosting problem on ps5 games is ,,normal" thing? The same is with ps4 games on ps5? For example in rdr2 as i move camera, there is a slight glare visible, it is visible on the trees, the same issue is with the last of us part 2, as i move camera, there is a glare on textures
Hi, it's presented in many games and most of the time is a game problem, but you can also ensure your TV is set to game mode, and if you have a monitor keep response time on standard to prevent screen ghosting!
I have the same problem on other playstation games too. I tested three TVs but it's always the same. maybe it's my ps5? or the hdmi cable? I also sometimes have dashboard flickering in dark areas
Hi, this issue is depended on the game, it's not your TV neither PS5 nor cable, it's the way developers implant TAA, in some games it less, some in others is worse.

@@DanielZH I have this big problem too in my Xbox series x with games like resident evil 2,3,4 remakes Saints row the third remastered and others I connect the console to all the TVs in my house, including the LG webos 4k, and I see the horrible ghost effect on all of them, what could be the cause? Could it be a problem with the console, my TV's, or perhaps the game developers would have something to do with this? The issue makes me so crazy that I changed the previous series x that I had for the one I have now, and it also looks like that. I can't believe it.
@@DanielZH According to what I have investigated the ghosting issue is not only visible with poorly implemented TAA can also occur by hardware failures, the causes can be many. I changed 3 XSX for other defects and there were games which had no ghosting before but now with the one I have I notice a lot of ghosting, or it could also be that I have not noticed it Anyway this is a very serious problem that almost nobody talks about and I do not understand why, I do not know what they have in their brains to ignore something as horrible as ghosting.
@@DanielZH np ♥️ and this is a unreal engine game so if your not using dlss you can set the frame weight and samples in the engine.ini in your config folder. r.TemporalAACurrentFrameWeight= 0.2, r.TemporalAASamples=4 helps. 👍
And with motion Blur on there is no ghosting... i habe everything on except film Grain. Fidelity raytracing is the way to play this game. Of course its Not so smooth like Performance but its reaallyyy goood. Im playin on lg oled b9 A little bit old tv but it does a perfekt job Boro haaall kon dashi😘
The ghosting is still there, motion blur will just hide it a little as the whole screen gets blurry due to the change of speed; but yeah, that's a good idea to feel that less, but even with Motion Blur off, there is still a little blur.
