Hogwarts Legacy Has Some Confusing Points

I believe in Harry Potter lore, wands only lower the entry level of casting, they aren't meant for increasing power. You have to focus/concentrate more when casting without wand but if the spell comes out its power is the same. (Basically think of wands like training wheels). Also wands are pushed and emphasized by the ministry (in modern day) because you can track the kind of spells a wand has used and if someone is illegally casting spells. Basically, think wands like a constant "drug test" and ankle monitor.
