My favorite is when Dumbledore said "Our daddy told us not to get ashamed of our Wands, especially if its in good size and all. Sometimes, Im pulling the wand so hard...I rip the skin."
BRO I have been telling everyone about the face animations and the dead pan npc face reset after every sentence thing and no one else seems to notice, glad I am not crazy.
I wish the game had some kind of "realistic" difficulty, where enemies can one or two shot you, but you can do the same to them. It would probably make me consider getting the game.
This. Been trying to like the game Darktide still, and the harder 2 difficulties make trash mobs require 2 heavy axe hits rather then 1, making combat a slog to be honest. If they just did more damage and their were more of them that'd feel exciting and fair.
I unapologetically love this game, and it's just as you said. I grew up with HP, lifelong fan, and I've been starving for a proper HP game/sim for about 2 decades now. Turning literally the entire HUD off, hardcore style, on the hardest difficulty made this game a trip. Fights with this setup meant memorizing the placement of 16 diff spells at all times, and which ones fit which shields, in the heat of battle. Shit popped off in 10 man fights Also, I completely forgot about Wanted Dead
You know, if someone made this into the X-Men school instead, i'd buy the HELL out of it. Because at least then, we'd get all of this PLUS giant killer robots and a cheeky Ryan Reynolds cameo for the same damn price
I had a buddy of mine pre-order this game, I held off and waited for reviews like I always do. So he downloads the game, and before he starts playing it, he calls me up. He's telling me I have to get it so we can stream it together. I told him no, because "I'm pretty sure this is going to be one of those games that makes you watch an hour of cutscenes, then walk to the next set of cutscenes, then walk to the next set of cutscenes, maybe do something actually gameplay-related for about five minutes, and then walk to the next set of cutscenes, lather rinse repeat." He scoffed at me, told me I was overreacting, and he was going to spend all day playing his new game. 12 hours later, he calls me up, "Oh my God, dude... you were exactly right. It was exactly how you said it was! I'm bored out of my mind with this game, but I spent so much money on it I feel like I have to keep playing it." Yeah... that sounds about right. Ladies and gentlemen... modern gaming.
Idk man. I had low expectations for this game cuz its a licensed game and those are never good. The beginning/tutorial is cutscene heavy ill give ya that. But once you get to the part where you can play in the open world. Solid. Addictive gameplay. Id compare it to Bully but with flying.
this this since last "next-gen" bullshit where they decided to "balance" singleplayer games ilke a goddamn mmo when there's magic and it has cooldown but no mana bar i'm either not gonna use it at all or i'm gonna cheat no cooldown
Critics: "If you play this game, you are transphobe" Players: [Top this game in steam] Fleekazoid: "Pretty meh game, 5\10" Me: "I love unbiased reviews."
I love that I just started a new Elden Ring playthrough a couple weeks ago, so when a friend of mine sent me a link to a thread on the Hogacy subreddit where they were _bragging about how CLOSE_ their numbers were to Elden Ring's at its peak concurrent player peak, I just had to stop and think and go "Wait. This is a _Harry Potter_ game, which has a massive, gargantuan built in fanbase like Star Wars, why do they NOT have greater numbers than Elden Ring right after this game's release. Why does it have to catch up to good games? Oh yeah, probably because of [list of reasons.]"
They effectively had two launch dates spread out over 4 days, I'm pretty sure elden ring had a single launch date and was well known, hyped and reviewed ahead of time, and is now in the top selling rpgs of all time, it's no mean feat to get those kind of numbers even with a fanbase, after all other harry potter games haven't had this level of success despite pulling from that same base.
@@Maxalthor Elden Ring was well-known and hyped because its predecessors were excellent, its studio is top of its league for over a decade, and their games have defined an entire genre. It was loved by players and was made for players. Comparing its success to a game that gets most (if not all) of its clout from a book series that became a popular movie series is like saying people like ice cream so much because of its unique texture, not the massive amounts of sugar in it.
@@OneBiasedOpinion Okay... I don't think you're understanding the point of the comment, I was saying that it isn't surprising Legacy didn't surpass elden ring in player peak for various reasons, one of them being that the creators were in fact well known, and as you elaborate, trusted. The sales numbers for legacy are still impress even with it being associated to a high profile IP.
@@yokai1235 Okay then, let's take another example such as Lord of the Rings games, that is a massive IP with a world-wide fanbase, how do any of those games peak concurrent player base stack up? Wow guess shadow of Mordor couldn't even beat elden ring must not be worth playing. Same goes for Jedi, who knows how many other large IPs. Elden Ring is incredibly popular and any game getting close to its numbers is impressive regardless of the IP attached to it
Agree with everything that Fleek's saying, as well as the fact that your character is the most Mary Sue that ever Mary Sue'd. So annoying, I kept thinking "man, this dude that to have a problem SOMEWHERE?" But nope, just a straight A student singlehandedly dismantling a Goblin rebellion in his spare time. But man I am somehow having a lot of fun with the game
That's one of video games best strengths, you can play an whole game being a complete gary stu or mary sue (depending on what gender u chose) who is a prodigy and capable of things no one else can, without being bothered by it most of the time since u would be busy most of the time with the gameplay and in some cases dying/losing a difficult mission also makes u subconsciously 'lessens' the opness of the mc in ur mind. Movies and shows however do not have this interactive advantage and thus the mary and gary stu's there are absolutely boring and uninteresting. This is why the silent protagonist power fantasy trope has only worked in games for decades and will continue to do so.
Yeah to me the game is a "MEH/20". Basic AAA formula without risks. At least it isn't buggy as hell and is playable, which is rare in modern gaming and the graphics are quite nice. But the script and characters are not very good. I am just happy that the polemics and calls to boycott failed miserably and this is the very reason why I am playing actually
"isn't buggy as hell and is playable" are very relative in this case, as much as I've seen people say they run this fine, on pc, a bunch of other people, myself included, seem to not be able to run this without horrible stutter that remains even in the lowest settings with decent or far better than required hardware.
Everybody wants a Hufflepuff friend, nobody wants to be called a Hufflepuff. That all said, I don't care what house you're from if you're whipping spells like this inside Hogwarts we're sending a owl to your parents letting them know their baby is not only expelled, but they are such a menace to the magic community that we gotta send their child to the Prison of Azerbaijan.
This channel has been a wonderfoul find, finally someone who say that if a game is boring it's shit, no balls licking, no 'but it got a lot of money" bulshit
I’m surprised on the amount of derp enemies others have been experiencing. All my enemies have been consistent and stayed on the offensive at all times.
I left the game mid-playthrough. Open World was good, but I didn't like the quests because I think they were intended for children. Maybe I'm just getting old.
im nothng close of being a pimp. but hearing fleek calling us pimps on his video sounds so endearing for some reason. great content as usual fleek, yessir
Didn't play forespoken but the shades of Albuquerque thing is pretty accurate. Seeing a building with any other color than beige or tan is a rare treat.
It would have been better if it was an aggressively gay story about Dumbledoor being but buddies with Grindlwald or how ever you spell his name. Would have been hilarious.
Hufflepuff is the only house that matters. Because their color is gold, and gold is the color of First Place. Meaning that all other colors and houses are inferior by default.
I strongly disagree with this Fleek hit piece against HL, the combat is on par with Elden Ring, if not better. Ennemies telegraph their attack in a realistic way, albeit they take the time needed to learn morse code from the ground up each and every time they do. Also the wheel icon and gear menu gave me strong Bungie vibe, felt like I was really a Destiny. All in all a strong 7/10, too much victorian era supreme drip, not enough nail salon customization. A Game From This Year contender for sure
That's because the combat of elden ring ia terrible. You can find good combat in games like nioh 2 or MH, and if the complexity of it puts you off, there's also From's own previous entry: Sekiro
Love the channel but I feel like this video falls in the category of “if it’s not ground breaking it’s mediocre”. I think it’s fair to say it’s not the developers fault that people expect so much when they explicitly said what the game was gonna be and showed tons of gameplay to back it up.
Every time a hyped new game comes out I get a tiny bit excited, hoping that maybe for once it will actually be good but in the end it's mediocre at best.... Looks like I'll be playing through sekiro for the 10th time...
I've never believed in the whole, "PC master race" thing, but I only recently found out most, if not all, indie and Double A titles are on the PC, and damn am I happy about that. It means I don't have to deal with the usual Triple A sludge console gamers put up with. The last AAA title I bought was Elden Ring about 11.5 months ago. After that, I've just been playing Indie and AA, and I don't even feel like I'm missing out on anything. And it's cheaper; you only need a high end PC if you're trying to play the latest AAA slop. My PC is about 4 years old now, and still going strong. I'm not saying PC master race, but you console players really need to try out PC gaming, for the great games if nothing else.
This game was the ultimate example of "I'm going to pretend it's a 10/10 because *the people I don't like* hate it". Aside from the visuals, I couldn't find much to enjoy.
I'm kind of positively surprised of this game actually. I was extremely hesitant to pick it up first, waited until full release and credible sources to review it. I have decided to buy it and in the end I was having a blast. My experience is entirely subjective (so does multiple things that are in this funny video), but this is hardly mediocre. I mean sure the game itself uses a dead tired and uninspiring open rpg formula, but it is actually very polished of what it offers down to very tiny details. Details that are frequently neglected in other titles. :) But I would recommend it only to fans of the universe, because there are a metric ton of things that are not explained and without context would mean nothing (I've only read the books when I was a teen and never watched the movies).
FLEEK with the body of Jack Horner, never knew I needed it, but I have found I absolutely did, thank you. oh and the review, the games so unmemorable I subconsciously blocked it to enjoy more FLEEK.
