Oh shoot. I forgot like half of the analysis that I was saving for this video... I'll just drop what I remember downstairs. I noticed when I read ahead that the all of the characters' switching houses was initially pretty weird. Why switch the characters' placement instead of the names of the houses and what they mean? It took a minute, but I realized that it's possible that not only was the switch completely intentional, but a surprising amount of thought went into it. This is my theory, as someone who knows very, very little about religion: The boldness and bravery of Gryffindor is assigned to the author's (and Harry's) faith because the author sees herself as some kind of martyr. This is Harry's house because he's the hero. I have no idea what this is, but you mentioned in the previous video that it was possibly Lutheran. The cunning and ambition of Slytherin is assigned to Catholicism, due to its popularity and the amount of power that they hold. Ron is in Slytherin but also stays Harry's friend because the author finds Catholicism 'acceptable' despite their differences. The loyalty and inclusivity of Hufflepuff is assigned to hippie faith, judging by Luna's description. The author still sees them as Christians because they love the Lord, but they follow the bible very loosely. Luna was placed into Hufflepuff because she's a bit odd and unusual, but is still Harry's friend. The wisdom and cleverness of Ravenclaw is assigned to Christian extremists. This one is a bit tricky. It doesn't make any sense at first since in writing, Malfoy doesn't come across as very smart at all. But what the author is referring to is how extremists use cleverness to twist the words of "real Christians", which is mentioned briefly. Draco is obviously in this house because he's Harry's rival. I also think it could be a subtle punch from the "knowledge is the enemy" angle, seen in chapter one. SPOILERS?!: I also feel like it's not much of an educated guess to say that Voldemort is going to be an atheist. The reason that atheism wasn't assigned to the 'villainous' house is because of the line in chapter five, "We all love the Lord, and what more in common do we need?" For Slytherin, she needed a house that worshiped the Lord, but was also a problem, while Voldemort as ultimate villain was given no faith at all.

I can't with these hats. Why didn't she just swap Slytherin and Ravenclaw? Why does Ron have to be a Slytherin and Draco a Ravenclaw? xD

I have a theory that in this fanfiction all of Slytherin house is just made up of Weasleys

Also, as someone raised in a VERY strict religion (no T.V., women had to wear dresses, no involvement in sports, etc.), I would say the person writing this was raised strict too (evangelical) and is not out of the religion and is trolling.
