Hey! doggies just putting this video up to welcome our Lastest friend to Bassman51able righteous bass collection. YEAH! No fancy playing just want to let my little doggies aka my “Friends “ know l will be putting new strings on it and another pre amp in it , unless l change my mind

Had my B Bass 4-string since 1991. Love it. My 15-year-old son plays it now.

@@bassman51able Mine’s the same colour as yours too. The funny thing is, the London shop had advertised a Hohner The Jack bass (headless bass) but it wasn’t in stock….ended up buying the B Bass that day and have had it ever since. Best wishes from Frankfurt Germany.

I picked up one of these a few years ago. It doesn't sound as good as my higher end instruments, but they are 90s cool. I think I will set it up tomorrow.

I just pulled mine out the other day. Missed playing on mine. Had it since August of 1997. It's my favorite bass but the neck is a bit fragile these days. It's just my home/studio bass now. The sound from those basses is my all time favorite bass tone.

Wow! thanks for your comment my doggie aka"FRIEND" do like I did, I had the same dream, one day I save my money went to a pawn shop and bought one for $125.00. that was years ago. same now Go for it!! Holla YEAH! Let me know when you get it.

Lol I got a 5 string but it needs repairs nd I'm currently broke as hell..one of my dreams is to be a professional bassist..

the pitch of this bass is 34 inches. it's absolutely not a short scale it's not because it has 24 frets that it's a short scale. a short scale has a pitch of 33" between the bridge and the nut

That was not a reproach my friend. You are a cool guy . The 16.5mm string spacing gives the bbass V a very compact feel. And a flavor of short scale. I also thought at first that it was one when I bought mine. But it's a standard 34" pitch 😉. Like my good old jazz bass....

I literally fell in love with my bbass that I paid $150 to a guy who had never played with. And today I plan to sell my jazz bass which I paid 1200 dollars used and which is worth 2500 new. These bbass are amazing!!!!

If you ever want to sell that bass, let me know lol. I miss my Hohner. Our bass player when i was in high school had a 4 string then traded it in for a 5 string. I always loved that guitar. Played nice and sounded nice and it was very reasonably priced. I eventually purchased one down the line and then sold it when we moved to Florida. Miss that damn thing now and they do not even make them anymore. From time to time, i will search the net for a used one to no luck.
