DD Sirji aap ka ye collection bahot hi achchha laga, paheli baar pataa chala ki itna chhota harmonica bhi hota hai, very cute and tinny. Aap ke videos bahot hi interest lekar bannate hai, aur ek ek point me bbariki aur deeply samjaate hai. Thanks Sirji
Sir I just saw your video on PUCK mouthorgan and went back to 1955 when I started to play this at the age of 8 years. It was Rs 5/- then. Spoilt a few of them and then got my Crometta 8 gift from my parents which was priced at Rs 13/- in 1959. This,Crometta 8, was accidentally broken by a friend in school and so got another one in 1961, priced at Rs 45/-. Many many years later I happened to find a PUCK mouthorgan at a shop in Delhi. It was priced at 300/-. Immediately bought it and was thrilled to have it again. Sadly one of the reeds has broken and I have checked videos on how to repair it. Sir I later got a gift of Crometta-10 from my daughter but had some problems on playing. I was to buy a Crometta-14 but you advised me to buy Suzuki SCX 48, which I have recently purchased. Nice mouthorgan. I also bought a Vault 10 hole diatonic, but it is having a problem with the low notes. In your video which I saw recently, I now know why this is happening because of Richter scale. Sorry for the long comment Sir, but it is wonderful to see your videos and get your advice.🙏 Regards,K M Pant
I follow your channel and learnt of many new things on the techniques. Must say that you are an excellent teacher. Thank you for this review on PUCK. I purchased one of this cute little thing for novelty but, to my surprise found it to be quite playable. It is so easy to carry that I plan to keep it in my travel bag.
I started playing a Puck more than 60 years back, but never got such a meaningful advice from any quarter. I too faced this problem many times. My first purchase of a Puck in 1959 was for Rs 11/- from New Delhi’s Janpath market, damaged it myself due to my curiosity. Second purchase was in 1964 from Warangal (was there for 5 years for my Engg Degree) for Rs 62/-.
Sir, I am planning to upgrade my harmonica from Tower 24 holes Chromatic to either Eastop or Suzuki or Hohner 12 Holes Chromatica. Now my confusion is I have practised on 24 holes Chromatica and if I change to 12 holes, will I be able to play and adjust to 12 holes Chromatica? Please advise which one is better suited if my budget is about Rs.5000/-. 24 holes Chromatica which brand and model is available within 5K to 7K. I am also interested to buy old brand Hero Trimolo. Where can I get this? I am keen follower of all your You Tube broadcasts. Love the way you go in to details of ever aspects of harmonica.
Since the start of winter, I am also facing difficulty on my Easttop forerunner particularly after playing a while. Even though it is valveless, does this problem happen because of condensation too? Do we need to warm all types of harmonicas, or is that only advised for valved ones?
