That’s was great. Nothing better than eating and drinking some great food on the beach. You had an awesome trip making some lifetime memories and meeting the people. Asian people can be so happy with the little things it gives you a different perspective.
Jimmy Buffett's song "Last Mango In Paris" has a line that says, "I ate the last mango in Paris, took the last plane out of Saigon, took the first fast boat to China and Jimmy there's still so much to be done". - Captain Tony
Another good enjoyable video! I don’t recall your little giggle laugh in the older videos, maybe I didn’t notice,, you giggle laugh,I now laugh,, it’s a win win!! Happy everywhere!
Wow, Terry, enjoyed this video immensely! What a choice destination, and that room was spectacular. Nearly a 'white sand' beach, tropical drinks, cold beer, amazing people, just unbelievable. Really hope I get the chance to visit that entire area. Cam on, Thank You so much for sharing this slice of heaven, truly underrated or just perfect timing on your part. Wow oh Wow.
It's really impressive, Terry! How lovely Danang is without waves and waves of Chinese tourists! I pretty much doubt that I could enjoy it just like you did right now when I have a chance to travel there.
Really like your perspective on the videos. I’ve watched many other tuber travel videos and I feel like I’m watching someone else enjoy their travel but when I’ve watched a couple of your videos I feel like I’m enjoying alongside with you. Also you are keeping it real … presenting the good and bad. It’s refreshing. So I subscribed today. I was laughing when you left money in hotel. I’ve done similar in my travels on more than one occasion.
Charley welcome aboard brother and thanks for the kind and encouraging words. Hearing that you feel like you're along with me on these journeys is so personally rewarding. Onward and Upward my friend!
I had you pegged for the Shirley Temple kind of guy!!! With whiskey!!!! lol Great man I’d love to stay at that place when I’m in Vietnam!!! Two more years and I’ll be there!!! Retiring soon👍
Vietnam is not only for shopping but nice tourist places. I think your character and style will blend in very well if you visit the Philippines too as the people there are more friendly and speak English very well..
Hi Terry, thank you for your reply, i was watching Ken in Saigon and spotted the building i queried, it is known as Vincom Centre, not sure if the upper floors are hotel or private apartments, shall research tonight, very sad to see earthquake in Taiwan, love your accom in Da Nang, thanks boy, talk soon
21:50 Remember 300K ~ 12 dollar, that is *definitely* a little more than the watier's earns/day, *that's just 1 meal right* and it was not that fancy of a meal, not at all. So you need to take into account that your 1 meal worth a whole day's salary of a *high* end paying waiter in Vietnam. My point is that it was not cheap, it's the *MOST* expensive meal in the world, respect to what workers earn in Vietnam.
That meal alone was more than enough for the owner to pay the waiter, his salary/day. You got a point, and what I like to say is if it was the local people, they would charge them maximum half of what they've charge you, MAX. In the western countries like America, Canada, Italy ..... they don't double charge foreign tourists, NEVER.
18:10' only westerners will do this, folks. Barefoot, you can pay attention next time you see this from a Vietnamese. They will almost never pick it up once it's out of their hands.
