The new "Man the Guns" expansion introduced several new national focus paths for the United Kingdom. In this series, we will be playing a non-aligned alternate history route where King Edward VIII never abdicates during the 1936 constitutional crisis. Of course, there will be consequences for this decision...

Send one army to Estonia to lure the polish army away to an area where you'll have a bigger front. Then send troops to hit danzig and push to Warsaw! If you try to take danzig first you'll be fighting the entire polish army on a two-tile front and you won't be able to push. Also don't forget to put a garrison in Pakistan so you don't have to keep repairing the factories there!

To answer your question at the end of the video: Your subs and your patrol force are part of the same fleet and you're issuing the orders to the fleet. If you want your sub and your patrol force to have a different orders, make sure that your sub and your patrol force are in different fleet.

I'm fairly certain motorized artillery have always been there; they're the little bullet icon in the top-right of the Motorized research icon, the same way you can research tank destroyer (and other) variants of the different types of tanks by clicking on the icons along the right of the research icon.

That icon is for motorized rocket artillery, for all the other kinds like motorized artillery and truck-drawn rocket artillery, all you need is having researched motorized and the respective type of artillery.

Sonar is for sub hunting, radar is for surface detection. You mixed them up. Also care for NZ as they can be quite a nuisance to land on, have amphibious tanks and marines ready.

Just take Poland, they shouldn’t be too hard and you’ll get a whole lot more land rather than Germany getting it all

Poland joined Pakistan's faction "Miedzymorze" at 20:53 That is probably a game error though. Pakistan probably just joined Poland's faction but the game displayed the message wrong

Just a note for the end there, when you set a zone of engagement you set it for the fleet, not the task force, whereas orders are assigned on a task force basis. To put it simply, you've told the Home Fleet to operate in all the green zones, so all task forces, including your destroyer and sub task forces will operate there. Personally I don't quite understand why you're spreading them out anyway considering there's only one way the Polish navy/convoys can come from, so it'd surely be better to bottleneck them in Denmark? Or just send patrols and strike forces to seize the Baltic sea entirely?

One thing I've always wondered........does the Field Marshal in a command structure earn experience when you only issue orders to the individual Generals under his command?? Or does he only earn experience when you issue orders at Army Group level, ie through the FM himself?

I'm playing as El Salvador and they don't have ships, research for ship or naval xp. I can research hulls, but can't build any ships because I need xp to create templates. The hell?

They nerfed SF a lot but it's still good. GB is good as well, it's only about what you use really.

@@netbotcl586 When you have mass production of good guns (especially artillery) you use SF. When you have good generals and bonuses for land battle you use GB. Stacking planning bonus is overpowered, and you also have the Staff Office Plan which increases the max planning, along with the general traits and passive bonuses from GB. Pravus is more of a casual HOI4 player so I would reccomend TommyK, Feedbackgaming and other such channels for competitive gameplay.

You will naturally become better at hoi4 but It seems you are not producing a navy with your naval dockyards. Also you are not producing anti-tank or researching better planes. As the UK you will probably be fighting Germany, they use tanks and have an airforce. You want to create a lot of fighters tac bombers CAS. I can’t really explain your entire faults in the way you play. You’re having fun so you don’t need to listen either. If you want to become better you can watch people like TommyKay or Taureor who are very good at the game. You can learn what is least effective in how you play and what is most effective.
