There are several differences between Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor, even though the mechanism is the same because Arena of Valor follow Honor of Kings which is the original version. The difference between Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor can be seen from the names of the heroes. In Honor of Kings it tends to be more about Chinese culture, such as the hero Da Qiao, in Arena of Valor changing his name to Rouie and his design has also changed even though his skills are mostly the same. Likewise with other heroes like Alice in Arena of Valor, Aleister and many more
