Great video. Just picked up the Mafate speed 4.. I’ve been an Altra fan for over a decade mainly due to having a pretty wide right foot. Altra is really lagging behind with durability and midsole as now so wanted to try and see if I could make a Hoka fit me. This is the first Hoka that actually feels like it might fit my wide foot. Noticed you got a wide in the Clifton. Is there hope for a wider footed runner to get into some good Hokas you think? Looking forward to my first run with the Mafate 4 after running many miles in the Olympus 5.
Thanks for the reply. Having wide feet can be tough to find the ideal shoes. I have the Clifton and Rincon in wide fit. The Mafate S4 seems to stretch well to wider feet esp with the expansion vamp material. Enjoy the Mafate they are sooo comfy with the Profly+ mid soles. There is hope I feel 👍
