Ive had laminectomies and decompression surgery for chiari malformation. I may jog short distances but mostly fast walking w my dog. Would these be good for impact if its more walking than running? I have and love bondi 8 and they work but still have some pain so wondering if these would help with impact or too much for walking?
Hey Michelle, these shoes have more support than the Bondi 8, though I’d seek out the opinion of a podiatrist/professional if I were you, given your specific condition. Also, I encourage you to try them on a running store before making a call. It’s the best way to know if they feel good on your feet.
@@Gere_FPV Great question. It really depends on a lot of factors. But probably not, as the Cielo is more designed for racing than everyday training or workouts and lots of long runs. Hence the Skyward X, I suppose.
I’m a slight over-pronator. These aren’t stability shoes (they’re neutral), but I find them to be bouncy enough to prevent your arch from completely collapsing.
@@AlexCyr I currently run on the one degree beyond centauri which is also a neutral shoe but gives me a little more on the inside of the foot to help with that collapse
