I like the variety of takes from you fellas. All that’s missing is Thomas. I tend to agree with Kieran in that the Skyward X is something of an enigma (for me at least). I do want to keep running in it though. I find is very stable as Nick says. Mostly, I’m relieved that you’re all underwhelmed with the Cloudmonster Hyper. I’ve been curious about it for a while, so it’s always good to have reasons to save my money and take a pass. 👍
will you say you can run a half marathon on the Skyward X, if you just want to roll with it not looking for any PR but most to just enjoy the race and ended it feeling good? I am checking to use that one or my Hypers
I went with the On Cloudmonster Hyper because the Skyward X felt like it was dragging/weighing me down in the heel. The Hyper was super light and bouncy, with good cushioning. These were the last two on my shortlist.
The hyper works for me as my bunion finally fitted in a shoe;) but mostly cause I land on the forefoot mostly and thus I get all of the Peba energy return. Also as you mention they are really super stable and have a nice arch support which not a lot of neutral shoes have these days. ❤
