What angle would be most helpful? I always wondered what helps people in shoe reviews. And if that is something that is helpful, we can include that in future videos.
Thanks for this! I’m curious how it ended up holding up under dirtier conditions. I don’t mind shoes showing wear, but never went quite as far as purchasing a light color hiking shoe.
For anyone who’s wondering the same thing I did get these and hiked a moderate scrambly and slightly muddy hike with them, and the way the color dirties is totally fine. They looked used, not trashed, because the material if the upper actually did pretty great withstanding the scrapes and whatnot. They were also stupidly comfortable for me-I didn’t expect them to be as different from my other hiking shoes as they were, but wow! Very noticeable. One thing: the front part of the sole is actually peeling off at the edges after only one hike. I messaged the company and their policy is that if you get it from a retailer you cover shipping to them and they either refund or credit you. But that only applies if you purchase domestically in your own country (I didn’t, I purchased mine while traveling). In my case, I’m out of luck. I just wanted a repair tbh. The shoe is pretty awesome
Great question. I think they would do good. We have a lot of writers that use Hoka and are on their feet 12 hours a day. Some are nurses, some euro security. They seem to like them.
Hi Sean! Your pal from across the pond here. Listen, i know i am all into shades reviews and what not but today i need an advice on shoes: i need a proper training shoe, an all-rounder so to speak, for my mixed workouts - bodyweight, some lifting, plyometrics and jump rope - those are the activities i do on a regular basis. I need a good degree of cushioning (for plyos mostly) but i wouldn't want the shoes to have too much of a pronounced outsole - nothing crazy high on the heel - and i generally prefer a shoe with a truer feel than a lots of cushioning. I need the stability though, especially for aggressive plyos like bounds, side to side hops, but also tuck jumps and high knees. Do you have any to recommend? Thanks! P.S. I think i've finally found the sunglasses i had been looking for - i'll keep you posted on that one ;-)
Hey buddy! I have been doing some thinking about this for you. I appreciate that you want a little cushion, but also good ground feel. Xero shoes might be too minimalist for you. I think the sweet spot for you might be the Allbirds Super light wool runners. I use these for training several times a week. Good ground feel with just enough cushion to allow me to be on my feet for 12 hours. Plus, they are wool and easy to care for. I like them so much I grabbed a second pair! Here is the video for them. PS - stoked you found your perfect shades! Love to find out what they are :). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pSaGy5CuXnU.html
@@Engearment Thank you Sean, so very much! I knew i was in good hands asking you ;-) I'll be sure to check the Allbirds Super as well as the Xero shoes. I've also read good things about Altra shoes. I'll keep you posted. Cheers!
What kind of action are you looking for? I like these boots so much that I picked up a second pair. What else can I tell. you? They look good, fit well, are waterproof, and have great grip, and I picked up two. If that is not a review from real-world use, then I dont know what to tell you. Perhaps make your own youtube channel and do a review on them.
