This section is part of a scenic section called the North Pacific Seaside Line.
The North Pacific Seaside Line is a 300-km driving route from Hiroo Town in the Tokachi region of southeastern Hokkaido to Cape Nosappu in Nemuro.
Because it is away from major national highways, it is a recommended route with little traffic, allowing visitors to enjoy unspoiled wilderness.
