[HOKUTO59] MAKING a JAPAN stool !! ② making furniture 

Beautiful workmanship as you would expect coming out of Japan I made some Scandinavian chairs very similar to this about 2530 years ago I'm retired now living in part of France and lockdown because of oversee the virus. I had a small business working for myself in East Anglia in England for repairing furniture to making it making windows especially doors . The job for the chairs came along a gentleman that had these chairs that he brought from Scandinavia years and years ago and two of them were broken he asked me whether I could repair them I suggest so I did about five weeks later I took them back and I got paid. A week so later he phoned me up I was expecting the worst he then said to me would you be interested in making a pair of carvers . These are chairs with obviously with arms on and I said yes I think they took me about six weeks to make both of them in like a string like material he was very pleased and I had some more work from him plus some of his friends as well. As one thing I love doing that's making something with your hands instead on my computer so I can appreciate the work you have been doing and your skills but it's probably taking years to master I'm now 68 years old retired but I still want to work. These are bad times all over the world at the moment because of this virus that's going around I'm quite lucky because I live in the countryside in the Dordogne by myself because my partner decided she wanted to go off with somebody who is younger than myself I still have my skills I still have my tools I get up in the morning have my breakfast and I plan to make something or to do a job which involves using my hands and having to think through something to go to work. You are all very talented people it's just a shame in the world that all the skills have been lost. Keep up the good work stay safe in his sad bad times kind regards Phi from the Moulin in France.

I really wanted to watch your vid but the music made it unwatchable. Why do so many content creators have to ruin their wonderful work with really distracting and irritating music? I'm going to try again with the sound turned down, but I would have loved to hear the sound of the wood and tools. Not techno-pop...

Please remove the noise on your next videos. That background music is annoying.
