Meet Mohanad, a Palestinian Christian from Beit Sahour, a town just down the hill from Bethlehem. His family has been carving olive wood for many generations. They make the small pocket crosses that we sell in our shop, starbazaar.bethbc.edu.

It’s amazing to know most families in Bethlehem are actually Christian. The massacre of the innocence will never be in vain. May God cradle those children in his arms for eternity.

Really interesting history of it. Never would have thought Bethlehem would be mainly Christian today. I thought the Muslim religion would have been the majority. Who knew.
