Thanks for the review. Quick question, is there a reason why the hardware looks different from what is on the holdfast site? I really like the custom holdfast rings with the logo and wonder why that's different. Seems like on your model it's just a D-ring for the slider.

Ricky Chan good question: my model is quite a bit older, I'd say at least 3 years. I got it second hand so I don't know exactly how old this model is.

Great video! You've got yourself a new subscriber! Just a little feedback but it sounded like a small change in mic levels when the camera angle changed. Been looking for an alternative to my BlackRapid system and I think I've found it now.

Great to see a lady doing this... and the boyfriend for filming (hehe). You should also mention that NO BREASTS get squeezed with this strap making it a perfect prime-lens-two-camera set up for ladies who are not entirely flat chested!

Would you recommend the regular strap, or the skinny strap? I am 5'8" with a medium/small frame.

Tamara Boden I've never tried the skinny strap but I would assume it would fit better for small-medium frames. Not sure what the support would feel like though since it is skinnier, and the weight of your gear may distribute differently than the regular strap.

Tamara Boden I did find this one (the regular strap) didn't fit as well on my smaller frame.

Wow sorry for the incredibly late reply. I no longer use this one, I only had it for about 1 wedding season which was 4 months. I didn't like the fit on me and it felt heavy. I have been using a different leather dual harness made by a local Vancouver maker called Hello London Designs, for over 2 years!

Great review, thanks! Manufacture's website says Water Buffalo models will color bleed on white. What's your experience?

it has never bled on to my clothes! :) the metal rings do sometimes leave residue on my clothes but it comes right out

Bobak Radbin hey! I actually sold it after a few months and purchased a different harness from a local brand and prefer it much more. The holdfast ended up being uncomfortable for me, though most people love theirs and don't have a problem.

I believe it is the size small. I bought it second hand so I'm not 100% sure, but the original owner is about the same size as me so I'm assuming it's the small.

How do u like this strap after 3years of use lol. Do u still use this? I’m waiting the strap which is vegan leather moneymaker which is their new product. U might upload more vedios right?? Not skipping another 3years lol

Haha yeah I have been saying I'll make another RU-vid video but it's 3 years later and nothing. Anyway, I no longer use this strap. I have a different leather dual harness made by a local Vancouver maker called Hello London Designs, which I find fits so much better and was much cheaper than the Holdfast.

Aileen Choi what?! Omg lolol. I should have left comment earlier lol. Where can I check the strap? Do they have website?? I had lived Vancouver for a year btw. U must be korean canadian aren’t u?? What a perfect life.. Life in van as a wedding photographer. I’m super jealous. That’s what I wanna do. U know breka on Robson and bute in downtown? I had worked there lolol. Anyway nice to meet u.

I’ve just checked their website. Yeh it’s almost half price of holdfast! But holdfast looks better though for me. I will see how it fits for me. It’s on its way.
