I had a 96 model and loved it. Very underrated vehicle. I was amazed at just how capable off road it was and that was without diff locks! It went pretty much everywhere! The only thing (apart from bad rust around the windscreen) that I had issues with, was constantly snapping the rear sway bar linkages on really tough tracks. This I think was due the fact that I traveled heavily loaded. Sadly the rust was too expensive to repair, along with a new windscreen, so I had to part with the old girl. Who knows, I may get another one one day.
G'day mate, I was pretty impressed with how much rust this thing didn't have. A little bit in the a pillar, but apart from that nothing anywhere. The old girl turned out pretty cool. Thanks for watching. 👍
@@grahamharris4wdadventures53 They are galvanised that's why no to little rust. Mine had a windscreen replacement at some point and whoever fitted it, scratched through the gal. That's why I didn't find out until it was too late. I know your young bloke will love it!
Thanks mate. I'm actually thinking of naming it nothing but trouble. Lol. Just done a head gasket and clutch master cylinder. Ready to sell the old girl and cut my losses.
@Quest4Coins thanks mate. Yeah body wise it's fantastic. A lot of new gear through the whole build including new injector pump and injectors. But honestly I'm over working on it.
