Working on my hold. Adjusted my Elite Verdict and Scott S2 release to a place I feel is the best it’s ever been. Working on breathing, form and disciplining all those little habits. Time I’ve put into blank bailing at home focusing on those details so that I know exactly what right feels like. Has transferred on the line. When it doesn’t feel right I need to be disciplined enough to let down and reset. #archery #archer

Tips for gaining strength and steadiness? Just repetition? I work out every day, but when it comes to the bow i feel so weak 😂

I 100% had this dang issue. I power lifted for years and couldn’t understand why a bow was a workout. It’s stabilizer muscles. I started doing yoga, calisthenics and swimming drills. It’s not a strength thing. It’s a skeletal alignment thing. Have to learn how your body, I know it sounds weird lol. I hand 65# limbs, holding 17# and a very low let off. So my bow wants to jump out of my hand but my back is doing most of the holding.
