Best? Idk about that. I think Hovland's was the best. It was the longest, and the speed on the green was absolute perfection. If the hole wasnt there to catch it, it was only going another inch or two.
Shane's definitely a great contender for being the best because that Hole 17 at TPC Sawgrass is definitely up there for being one of the hardest par 3 on tour.
@@camtwan1 It’s not fake, just mixed higher than the background noise. You can see the mic on the left side tee marker. That’s what it sounds like when you actually strike the ball first with serious club head speed.
The best hole in one I ever saw was in person from Tiger Woods in 1998 at Castle Pines. 185 yards straight in the cup, on the fly. It felt like there was a good 2 second pause of silence as the crowd processed what they just witnessed before the huge roar erupted.
1:57 I'm a mature adult and I DID NOT die laughing for 5 minutes when he said "John Huh was the guy that had the shaft that Hovland was able to stick in his driver"..........
I remember seeing Paul Azinger hit an ace on 17 at TPC Sawgrass. You would have thought you were at a hockey game the way the crowd erupted. Great memory
Is he celebrating that they are not building the townhouses behind his mansion. What a fake person he is to his fellow man. He showed his true character. Selfish and a princess.
A lot of standing and waiting when ur there live. Either close to the golfer and far from where the ball lands, or close to where the ball lands and far from the golfer.
Been playing since I was 12, now in mid 50's - - - never had one, been close, very close, about 3 inches........ had a 2 at a par 4 though, 7 iron from about 150yds, one bounce and in. One of my mates has had 3 aces, lucky sod
I'd give up every hole-in-one I could ever hit just to have one albatross. As for a condor, I'll continue to dream about that one and leave it to DeChambeau on a short par 5, downhill, downwind, with a dry fairway.
OMG I laugh so hard right now! The story behind the comment is that Hovland broke his driver in practice right before tee off on round 1. Huh had an extra driver in reserve and Hovland borrowed Huh's driver. But that comment taken out of context just got me. Hilarious.. HAHAHA
