Holga 120 CFN Review - My First Girlfriend 

I have, worryingly and obsessively, watched every single uploaded video you’ve released during this Covid lockdown. Thoroughly entertaining and got me shooting film again :)

Shooting with film is cool when other people do it. I admire them, but I want to have my pictures as soon as I get home without having to mess around with chemicals. That's why I use a Micro Four Thirds camera. Sometimes I use my bodycap lens, sometimes my CCTV lens. It's not quite the same as a Holga, but I don't have to spend huge amounts of money on film all the time that way. But the multi colored flash on the Holga is nice.

I’ll be taking out a Holga to a concert today. Am packing some HP5, will probably push the second roll to 1600 as it gets dark. Whether I get poo, or gold, I’m definitely eager to see what will come out. Edit: didn’t realize the film mask was needed to shoot 6 x 6. Only have the other one. Well, I guess we’ll see what happy accidents come out of it.

If my flash is broken, do you think it will affect the photos in broad daylight/ do you think fixing the flash is a possibility?

Quick question regarding shooting 135 in the camera: is it still 60mm on the 135? So it'll be a long lens for shooting 135, vs like the sprocket rocket that shoots 30mm right?

Hi! I really liked this video. Just bought one (second hand) but when I opened I realised that were the batteries goes everything was rusty. I cleaned it and I guess I did I great job... but not so sure how to make the flash goes on to see if it's working properly 🥲 Please help me 🙌 Cheers!

When you shoot 35mm in 6x6, how do you count the necessary clicks so as not to lose so much film?

Holga Cameras are designed to make you insane. It’s called surprise photography point push the shutter

Unfortunately I chose a Diana instead, those curves just stole me soul. Actually it was the camel print faux leather which did it. Shame Holgas have stopped being made.
