I love that you've used the low-end of the supply market and made one of my favourite cards of the series this year. Concept, technique and flawless execution win out over expensive tools and supplies!
I appreciate the fact you will show projects made with very inexpensive tools. Art supplies can get pricey, so it is really nice to have fun ideas for crafting on a budget, especially for those of us without painting talent or experience. The card turned out really pretty!!
Since I had to sell off all my craft supplies ( thousands of rubber stamps😮) I love this tutorial! I am now pretty heavily invested in watercolor and my attempt at this turned out really well! Thanks for your inspiration
I absolutely adore this idea!!! What a wonderful family activity!! I can’t wait to blast the Christmas music and set up the table with all my artist elves! Thank you for sharing this and all your other ideas. God bless! 🎄❤️🎄
This is so perfect! I just sent out all my Christmas cards but now I want to do special ones for my family to let them know how much I love them This is perfect and I think I'll use different colors for each person! You're the best Kristina
That is so lovely someone said like bands of ribbon, and I agree that is what it looks like. I don't do Instagram but I'm having visions already. But I need some black watercolor paper. (That wuz a hint) giggle. Well you did make me get the finetec pearlescent paint you know. Held a heat gun right to my head you did! 😂
Hahaha....are you tired of explained why 'Star of May'....too funny. Another 'winner' for me Kristina....only you can take such a simply and kid-friendly technique and turn it into a beautiful card. Love the simplicity of this and the color palette, as always, is gorgeous! TFS
I really loved this unique style of water colored Christmas tree! It is so beautiful in it simplicity! I’m going to have to give this a try! Thank you for this inspiration! ~ Katz
I like how beautiful, yet easy to make this card is. I think I will try it out using my Prima watercolors like Terrain or Currents as they over quite a variety of shades in green and blue. And I guess I will use some kind of gold or sparkle in addition 😁
I have made a half dozen of these so far today, and I've been so lazy today (literally watching a video in between each different color of green I put down) I did not bother to sketch out the triangle, I probably should have done that, it would have been easier to center it. such a great and simple card!
my husband watched the video with me and he is very impressed and says "I guess you don't really need stamps." YIKES . great card. you are so talented!!
I was hoping a simpler card idea would pop up. I’m on chemo and energy level is low. I think I will be able to mass produce enough of these. I’d rather not send store bought. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
Hi Barbara, Hope you find that beautiful card. Try Yana Smakula. She has some cards that are easy and stunning. They do require embossing. Love all these ladies though. Praying for God’s love o bless you and heal you.
