@@liamnelson8386 I start week close in, 70/80 yards then every day slowly move marker out 20 yards a time and follow fish out. If it’s busy sometimes you have to fish bit further out as fish do shy away from bait as week goes on. I use free spirit Hi S Ives and basia reels with shock leaders. But plenty of bays to margin fish so long range isn’t needed to catch fish.
@@liamnelson8386 fish from 15 upwards. Start close in, all fish same distance then no one will push fish out further than anyone else. Fish will move back out on getting caught. So have to follow them out but don’t fish max early or mid week as you won’t be able to reach them after catching a few as they will move out of reach. Make sure you pull rig out of silt on lead landing as deep silt. 5kg min boilies a day and hemp works a treat
shortnosed sturgeon bycatch? super cool we have a very rare and endangered population on the connecticut river or rather two one land locked and the other still migratory on the lower reaches hope to grow it into a trophy carp fishery in general its the most abundant warm water fishery in the region
Where does it say you’re not allowed to take your own bait????????? You can take whatever boilies you want, it’s just particles that have to be from a reputable supplier????
