Their scalp revival line is amazing and their superfoods deep conditioner is the BEST deep conditioner I've tried. They have one more mask their rice water protein moisture treatment which my hair just drinks up
I’ve been using the curl maker since December and noticed the flaking right away. What I’ve done to get rid of it to 1) use it only as a base not a topper 2) add water always as a last step to applying and 3) use ALOT less than I normally would any gel. With UFD, I could use as much as I wanted with no flaking, not curl maker haha. I apply maybe 1/3 of the amount I would with UFD and then go straight into my topper to get the definition/feel I’m looking for. I still get bomb results and great hold but no flakes. Let us know how you make it work for you.
The 3 row Denman comb has been a god sent for defining my hair (4a in the back, 4b/4c in the front). My hair is cut in a TWA so maybe it works better for shorter hair but hopefully it works for you! I don’t shampoo too often and mostly cowash my hair. But I detangle with my tangle teaser, then define with Aunt Jackie’s don’t shrink + comb my hair in small sections. Works every time 🙌🏾

What an epic haul. I've been low-key interested in so many of those brands. And you make me want to re-try the kinky curly custard. I tried it years ago and it gave me ramen noodle hair (I have fine strands). But my hair has changed over the years and I'm curious how my hair would react now. So much products. I live in rural Jamaica and it's a struggle to get get quality products. The few I can find such as the Kinky Curly Custard and Camille Rose is way out of my budget. There's never a sale. My wash and go aren't bad but I know it could be so much more,
All we can do is work with what we have access to, and it sounds like you are doing that. Hopefully that changes and you all get better access to products that you desire.
Surprisingly, the Denman styling comb is pretty good. I thought I would regret the purchase, but when I used it I was pleasantly surprised. And I’m someone who rarely uses brushes for styling since it causes me a lot of frizz.

Great selection. I've tried all these products 😬 as I am is my least favourite because of the smell. Fyi Briogeo is not black owned anymore, it was sold to Wella. I like most of their products apart from the styling ones. Bounce curl is one of my favourite brand, the clarifying shampoo ,the defining butta and the tumeric mask are amazing. You really went all out for kinky curly. A good combo is kinky curly with in shower style fixer or the bambou ginseng. I'm looking forward to your videos.

I took advantage before they took the kinky curly products down off the site cause of the mistake or could notify the stores they weren't suppose to be apart of the sale lol... The way I screamed when I saw the first shot. The only way Curl Maker works for me is as a base gel. I see some people using it as a one and done and unfortunately cannot with my coarse hair. I love the As I Am leave in under Uncle Funky's so so much. It's very similar to Kinky Curly Knot Today. Trepadora has me by the THROAT I don't know how their products so good!
@@BrittanyMia yes! I got the leave in tip from a stylist named Elaine from a RU-vid video on here! She said she preferred Knot Today as a base on coarse haired clients and I tried it with UFD mixed in and I've been doing my wash and go's like that with different leave ins. Leaves my hair much smoother because UFD alone doesn't smooth my hair enough.

I used and purchased (on sale) quite a number of Briogeo's Avocado hair mask. Aveda has an expensive mask that's suppose to be good. I purchased it on sale (25%), because, even for me it is expensive. I tried Camille Algae Renew Conditioner. It was just ok for me. I enjoyed Camille Rose Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment. I purchased quite a few of those (on sale). WHEW, TREPADORA, I tried almost their entire line and love each product. I was surprised about the oil, which I used on wet and dry hair. Very concentrated products. (LOL) Kinky Curly Custard, that should last you awhile. GO HEAD BRITTANY! Enjoy your products.
Ayyye I’m so happy to hear so many people love the Briogeo avocado, deep conditioner. Still, so many more products to try! Lemme be transparent. LOL i've learned to have a limit when it comes to sales. I ended up returning majority of the Kinky Curlys (unexpected job loss and I needed the money ). So now, even if there is a sale, these products have expiration dates. If I need it, paying full price WHEN I need it and knowing when I'll use it saves me piece of mind. I hate wasting. So, no real purpose for me to be hauling. This was my first and last time.

I may try that brand again because I tried it when I was first natural, and it didn't work well for me, but my technique has improved by a lot. Briogeo is so expensive. @@symphonypowell8799 I haven’t tried that combination, but I think it’s worth a try. You’ll find that a lot of combinations are about preference. I recently tried the kinky curly with a mousse and had some flaking, but I plan on trying again.

I don't know exactly how much I spent, but I know it was at least $400. I'm afraid to face it right now lol. Some of the products, Like the Briogeo, were Christmas gifts.
Could you please use the as I am curling jelly as a base leave in (like a comparison to uncle funkys) under a stronger hold gel (maybe like curl maker)?? I don’t have access to uncle funkys gel so I’ve been looking for alternative base gels 😊

I’ve been learning a lot, and it’s been helping so far but there are always things I’m looking to simplify. So it’s still pretty much the same, but I’m also going to be trying some new things in the future.

It makes sense that you have all of these products because you wash your hair frequently, but when I see other youtubers who have a huge stash and wash their hair every month or 2 months it makes no sense to me, they have a bunch of stuff collecting dust 😩
Yeah, I also never understood that. My one justification was that I’ll be washing my hair twice a week. But I can’t imagine having a bunch of products and only washing my hair once every two weeks or once a month.
