When interior designer Alexandra Kaehler recently took on her sister Katie’s new home outside of Chicago as a project, entertaining large groups with her growing family was at the forefront of many of their decisions. Now complete, the home is the perfect backdrop for their family to host a festive Hanukkah dinner. Follow along as the sisters bake, set an elegant table and discuss leaning into Hanukkah decor!

I loved hearing about the traditions and having family heirlooms handed down from the grandmothers. The home has a very relaxed feel to it. Lovely.

Such a beautiful family and home. I really enjoyed the stories behind the beautiful items. So encouraging to see a family preserving their heritage and their traditions. This is what grounds people and it is so important for the precious children. I absolutely love the dining room wallpaper and the tablecloth. It's such a treasure to have that from your grandmother.
