Mr. Kris, you are one lucky man. A Baron and a lady with a great sense of humor. Throw in that she has a real interest in flying and you have an unbeatable combination. Congrats. Thanks for sharing.
Kim, you're doing great. I have almost 33 years as an air traffic controller (retired) Reference your confusion on what to say checking in, just tell them (atc) who you are and what you are doing. So in this case you say "Miami approach Barron 3175W leaving ("out of" also works here) five thousand to cross GILBI at four thousand" Thank you both for sharing the fun videos, I can't wait to see some of Kim in flight training.
Wonderful interplay between you both! Makes the videos even more fun to watch! Especially Kim's last look at the camera and sticks her tongue out at us!
Another great flight guy's! Kim's looking more comfortable now too! Great takeoff Kim! Kris, you REALLY need to get your instructors rating, you ROCK it!!! Thnx for the ride!!!
As the person who "just posted a comment predicting fighting over the comms", I'd just like to say.... CALLED IT! LOL This video is wonderful, so much laughter and playful banter. Kim's comfort level is clearly steadily climbing, and I love the new personalized windscreen on your A20s!
GHRiz that’s why I brought it up!! I was thinking really..! I love being able to bring commenters into the videos and speak about them. It shows we do listen and read them❤️
@@flyingsic That kind of interaction is absolutely a huge asset to the show, Kim, and I think it's great that you're making those kinds of connections with the audience. Just makes the content all that much more enjoyable!
Had a 2001 Audi S8, currently have a 2013 Audi S5 cabriolet prestige. Fun car. Not as fun as my 2011 CTS-V but fun. Got my Method 7 specs. Thanks. Love Kim learning. Nice video! Thank You! PPL since 2002 looking forward to flying again.
Kim eats all the time and keeps that great figure. I watch her eat and gain three pounds. It ain't right! Love these videos, guys - I'm living vicariously through them!
She had me stressed on takeoff, lol. Nice work though. As a railroad conductor, radio coms are fast for general knowledge and slow for specific info. When you are slow, you are thinking and comprehending, as well as others hear and get fair warning of upcoming information - warnings - routs and are prepared for that upcoming information. Thanks for the ride!
I can only hope that someday the Baron I own can have the avionics that you have on board. How much easier can it be sending the flight plan straight to an iPad. Love the videos!
Gotta say that your co-pilot looks hotter with her hair colored red ! Baron pilot amazing view in camera recoding and view from the clouds ! You both do good work.
I understand the 2 hands thing. It’s plane dependent though I think. Personally I can do 100% of the flying even precision and low alt flying 1 handed but that is in the Cherokee. I just started flying with my friend who owns a BE36TC and that plane is so much heavier on the yoke and I find myself needing 2 hands when maneuvering in order to be comfortable. I think it depends on the control heaviness and the comfort with the airframe
Happy New Year to you both. Really enjoying the excitement of "SIC". She is really enthused. Also has a good appetite lol, made me hungry! Chris you have great patience and do a fine job explaining things to "SIC" on the approach and just before intercepting the localizer things were getting a bit hectic and in her excitement, she was peppering you with questions which can be very distracting. You handled it very well. Many PICs would have been less kind and patient. Kudos! Kim keep up the good work, you will be a fine pilot! Regards Moose Engine 59 FDNY
Hi Moose!! I too love her enthusiasm. I have no problem multitasking and she knows the signal when I need her to let me concentrate. But that is very rare. Hope to see you at sun n fun this year!
@@BaronPilot I'm looking forward to seeing you guys there as well. Do you have dates yet that you will be attending and at the You Tube Pilot booth? I have to fly up to NY for a Charity event I've been running for the past 33 years and this year I have to head up by the third of April. You may not recall but I told you last year when I saw you that watching your videos and also 310 Pilot videos, that you guys inspired me to get back into flying. Well, I've been working on getting my third Class medical, have to square a couple of things with FAA (which looks positive) and then I'll be sharing the beautiful sky with you guys! Keep the videos coming you do a great job both on putting them together but also flying and teaching "SIC". I just love it! you're also a cute couple!
You have me thinking about air density, at various altitudes. How this affects fuel mixture and the gauges that indicate this. Your new clothing store looks great. Thank for the Basic Aeronautical knowledge.
Hi guys, thank you for another great video, enjoy them all. Wondering if you can help? I see you have exterior cameras, I have two GoPros, one on the wing and am having constant issues connecting via Wi-Fi on both my phone as well as GoPro Wi-Fi remote control. Can’t seem to duplicate the problem outside the plane, always connects. Called GoPro but no resolution. Wondering if you’ve ever experienced these issues? I’m thinking it could be with the Wi-Fi between my radios and my iPad interfering with the GoPro Wi-Fi. Any thoughts?
Idk what you are flying but Not much you can do. I’ve never had much luck. When the engine is running it can create a magnet field that interferes with the WiFi on the cameras. Singles tend to have less of an issue as the engine is in front.
@@BaronPilot Also congrats on making the ABS Magazine cover this last month. My copy just arrived recently. (We have a Turbonormalized A36 out here in California...) Keep up the great videos, you two.
Man.. FXE must be the go to airport for GA. I've seen Steveo, Max, Greg, I think Martin Pauly and I think even 310 pilot Kevin and Jaime fly into there. Avoiding Miami airspace must be the way to go. I was at Port Everglades years ago in the navy as a quick port visit. Great vid as usual guys.
Nice work on that takeoff, Kim! 👍 Love the shirt, too. Been a long time since I've seen any of the C & C movies - I'm due to watch those, and the pair of Airplane movies again (my all time favorite besides Smokey and the Bandit).😎 I check manifold pressure as part of automotive diagnostic troubleshooting, so the concept of using it for throttle setting is a little foreign to me (mainly because I haven't ever done it - I get the concept, though). I appreciate the insight into this. 18" in descent made sense to me, because that's what I want to see out of a healthy engine at idle. Some busy airspace there! Had alot going on with traffic. The electronics must make that whole experience quite a bit easier, I'd imagine. Nice greaser there, Kris! 👍 Loved the video, too. 🍻
Great video(Best one so far). You talk about how great the sunglasses are, is it possible to hold a lens up to the camera to show the effect they have? Oh and when is the wedding? 🤣 Keep up the good work. Thanks
Randy Mann I did actually do that in this flight but I moved them too soon and the camera didn’t have time to adjust so it doesn’t do them justice. Now that I know this I will do it on another flight.
Ha ha your right! I was taught to fly with one hand until I went for my instrument rating then right into twins. My instructor for flying the 310 was big on using both hands on the contols. Enjoyed your video. Appreciate your input. Thanks you. Fly safe.
Kim you're doing good oh yeah you? Got the steering will and you're doing good you're doing better what you're 1st started off. You got good instructors that taught you're a s***. Yeah and you plugged it right in there and you fight for it now. You're a good pilot. Just keep up the good work and pay attention to your instructor when it tells us. How many knots in the weather in U be alright? You're getting experience just sit in a cup at noon. I've got to break yourself in so you can remember things if you. Fly? Your own. Plane. You? Know what. To? Do.
Joe Brunski I went with the middle shade. For me it’s a good balance that allows me to keep them on while in darker situations like IMC etc. The company recommendations are based on age of eyes. Younger being darker older being lighter. And flying in Florida, actual IMC for approach’s aren’t as common as in other parts of the country. I want to show more.
Ha ha she’s cute. Love your videos! I know your not the kind to brag and make it all about you but I’d enjoy hearing how you got started and more about your other flying you do. I get the impression you fly for a living. Thanks for all the hard work that goes into this. Can’t imagine the hours of editing it takes.
Very good video 🌹🌹very good complicity in flight 🦋🦋. Very fun to watch you 🛩🛩. Very good learning with you 😊😊.You made my day in each video 💎💎 and I love you guys ❤️❤️
A Max I have learned and use it when necessary. I know when Kristoffer needs silence and he most certainly would tell me if necessary. Other pilots I don’t typically fly with is a different story. But I do honestly appreciate the input. 😃
I might be remembering this incorrectly so don't quote me here but I think in one of his early videos he said he works in television production and I think it has something to do with the PGA Tour.
