Catching up on videos. Absolutely 💙💙💙 my Hocoro pens. Need to order a spare feed & waiting for the ink sets to come back in stock so I can order. The Nouto cards are so cool! Added to my list. Happy holidays ☃️
This has been such an awesome series of videos. Like I needed more stuff to collect! 🤣 Also - the way you two look at each other - talk about #relationshipgoals 😍🥰
Those Nouto cards are so much fun. I have several sets in both sizes. Having the back of the holiday card printed with the resistant whatever it is was brilliant. (Tell Nouto to add some glow-in-the-dark property to the resistant stuff. THAT would be awesome.) I put a small patch of plastic wrap over the top of the Hocoro nibs before inserting them into the handle. It doesn’t impair the flow (use the feed!) and it does keep the ink from travelling up into the handle and makes it much easier to clean between inks. Ink is jewels in liquid form. I hope you’re having as much joy making these videos as I feel watching them. I could watch an entire video on washi tapes, by the way.
I’m new to collecting fountain pen ink but I love those coloring ink cards! Might have to add those to my wishlist and see if I can’t get someone in my family to gift them to me, haha!
Personally, Diamine Inkvent Calenders are far from my radar, as the quantity of shimmer & sheening inks is overwhelming to use them up. In its place, I plan to collect the classics, Yoseka Green, and the exclusive II Ceramics series, but when it is warmer. With that amount of ink, I don't want to risk them freezing in transit. Winter weather is so unpredictable these days.
