Looks like an interesting simulation. As a VATSIM UK controller the phraseology is a little different but the principle is the same. I'd love to join you for a multiplayer session.

Ahhh that’s closer to what I expect from LAX compared the last run. Not pure chaos but pretty sure some planes were forgotten lol. Good job though

Congrats , your the first person playing this who didn't get a fly by. LOL But so far noone playing LAX has not had to delete a plane ( or two) . I saw one guy doing it all from the command panel and he was amazing. I.E. no talking from him. A belated Merry Christmas and have a great New Year.

On the incident at 21:56 The first time you make the call, you miss the "heavy" part of the callsign, and since the game is expecting it now, it 'mishears' you because it maybe thinks some part of "pushback approved, expect" is the "heavy" keyword that its expecting. If you look at the video, the call the plane got was "DAL324 (heavy) Runway 24L", not even approved. Second call, similar thing, but instead it read "DAL324 (heavy) Approved, expect runway 24L" On the third call, you finally remember to include "heavy" and it hears your incomplete command just fine. Fourth call works as intended. I would chalk this up to the game not really communicating to you in any way that you missed the "heavy" part of the callsign, along with some dodgy hacks the speech engine is using to only pick up expected keywords.

Having played the real-life version of this game for 10yrs, I can say you do a great job. To repeat an earlier question- is it possible to speed up those painfully slow readbacks? Excellent work nodak, thanks.

There was not a good way to make them talk faster! I think I had that on random speed, which is more realistic of course. Sounds like you would know how much a slow talker can wreck a sequence! Thanks for watchin!

Merry Christmas :) I'm learning with your video's. Question, I was thinking that departures should be at hold rather than Cleared for take off. Cleans up the waiting line of aircraft awaiting for a there clearing. Thank for your details, I would like to see airport lights on to clear up the views of runway compared to the taxi ways or more precious colored line to sperate the ways... :)

You should try controlling for VatSim in Microsoft Flight Simulator, I have tried it and it is the most realistic controlling simulation I have found so far, and you talk to real players in the game. Edit: Since you do talk to real players you do need to fly a few full flights and apply to become an ATC, but if you do decide to try it out just note that when you log on it tends to get pretty busy and you may get a few people talking at the same time. Do what you wish with this information but I for one think that you should try it out.
