I have quite a few ear piercings, and cartilage only hurts a little more than lobe, I would say. It takes longer to heal, and it is more easily irritated than lobes, and requires more after care (comparatively). But definitely don’t let the pain dissuade you from getting the piercings - it only lasts a few moments! ❤

Sarah I made the banana bread the way you make it and it was indeed amazing! The only change I made is that I added some hot chocolate mix to the cinnamon sugar toping to add a bit more of the cocoa taste. It's not over powering at all and made the top that much better IMO

I have the same ice maker, Frigidaire brand from Walmart. Love it!! *helpful tip we put fresh ice in a big zip lock bag as it melts slightly before it freezes solid. This avoids giant ice caps vs. pretty ice🎉. Love the sunglasses, the green pradas are in my cart!

Earring at the top - yep that is sore for a long while takes a big for the cartilage up there to deal. But after a while (months) it settles down/ Although it gets caught in your hair and glasses - i do like mine but once it settles down keep an earring in it (suggest the flat back ones) or it will take another few months to settle down again!

I have my 3rd earing done on my upper ear.....go to a tattoo shop to do it!!! They use needles, and it hardly hurt!!! I had gone to a location that used the earing gun, and it did hurt and then got infected, so I let it close....then to tattoo place 2nd time around. No problems since... I wish someone would have given me this advice.

My favorite pan dulce is the Guatemalan version of a Concha. It looks like one but it’s more dense and heavy. Also I love is the Champurradas.

I will say I got my cartilage piercing a number of years ago. It was uncomfortable for a bit but taking ibuprofen helped. I will say I like having a hoop instead of a stud because I'm a side sleeper and it would poke me when sleeping. I got the hinged hoop from Sallys and love them.

From a girly with 9 ear piercings the cartilage has always been a pain for me to heal. I always feel like the top of the ear is the hardest to heal because I always end up knocking it when I’m doing my hair and whatnot. Got a 3rd cartilage piercing in May and I love it but it’s still not fully healed. Definitely not as chill as a lobe piercing.

I made that exact recipe this morning and altered it similarly. I always put in an extra banana and mix it with the batter. I put dairy free chocolate chips inside and top with a brown sugar and pecan crumble. Delish!
