Książ (German: originally Vorstinburg, then Fürstenstein, and in the years 1945-1947 "Książno") - a historic castle in the castle complex, located in the Książ district of Wałbrzych in the Wałbrzyskie Foothills, part of the Książ Landscape Park. It is the third largest castle in Poland (after Malbork Castle and Wawel Royal Castle)[5]. It is located on the Piast Castles Trail. The facility has been managed by Zamek Książ in Wałbrzych since 1991.
The building has over 400 rooms (approx. 600 including outbuildings), its area from the ground floor to the 4th floor is 10,062 m², while the 5th floor is 894 m². In total, it is approximately 11 thousand. m² (excluding the area of the castle basements). Together with several buildings located next to the castle, the Książ administration owns 16,822 m² of usable space.
Wałbrzych (German: Waldenburg, Silesian: Walmbrig, Walmbrich, Czech: Valdenburk, Valbřich) - a city with county rights in southwestern Poland, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship on the Pełcznica River. Kłodzko Fortress (German: Festung Glatz) - a preserved fortress in Kłodzko, which is a defense system from the 17th and 18th centuries. The first mention of the existence of a defensive stronghold on the Forteczna (Castle) Mountain in Kłodzko comes from the account of Kosmas, a Czech chronicler. It should be assumed that it was a complex of wooden buildings surrounded by a palisade - in this form it was captured and burned by the Czech prince Sobiesław in 1114. Sobiesław rebuilt the stronghold in 1129 and installed a castellan there - Gronzata
Table Mountains (332.48; German: Heuscheuergebirge, Czech: Stolové hory, formerly: Hejšovina) - a mountain range in the Central Sudetes chain. Erected 30 million years ago, they are one of the few plate mountains in Europe. The slabs of Upper Cretaceous ashlar sandstone are arranged horizontally - hence the name of the mountains, because they are flat like a table. The western part of the Table Mountains is located in the Czech Republic and is called Broumovská vrchovina. The north-western edge of the range near Mieroszów - Gorzeszów - Krzeszów - Chełmsko - Okrzeszyn is called Zaworów. In 1993, the Table Mountains National Park was established in the Table Mountains.
Kudowa-Zdrój. Kudowa is located in a valley on the border of the Table Mountains and the Orlickie Foothills at an altitude of 370 to 420 m above sea level. on the Bystra stream, which flows into the Elbe (North Sea basin) through the Metuje River. It occupies the Kudowa Depression, which is part of the Orlickie Foothills. Kudowa's location on the southern slopes of the mountains means that it has a milder climate than the towns located in the Kłodzko Valley, from which it is separated by the Polish Wrota Pass.
NysaⓘNysa (formerly Nisa, Nissa, Latin Nissa, German Neisse, Czech Nisa) - a city in Poland located in the Opole Voivodeship, Nysa County, the seat of the urban-rural commune of Nysa. Historically, it is located in Lower Silesia, on the border of the Sudetes Foreland and the Silesian Lowland, in the southwestern part of the Nysa Kłodzka Valley. The Nysa Kłodzka River flows through them. There are artificial water reservoirs near Nysa: Lake Nyskie (also called Lake Głębinowskie), slightly further, Lake Otmuchowskie. In the years 1975-1998, the city administratively belonged to the Opole Voivodeship. According to data as of June 30, 2018, the city was inhabited by 44,243 people.
