Hi Sarah thanks for all your content. I noticed for the last few videos the camera to your right has changed in quality, your hands and any movement in general looks wonky, choppy, not smooth (no idea what the technical term is) Just wanted to let you know in case it hadn’t been brought up to your attention
Hi Sarah I haven't tried Holifrog tbh - their price point is a bit ouch, especially when most of their range is cleansers ie washed down the drain. I also have my doubts my rosacea and eczema prone highly reactive skin would like vinegar left on it. I have trouble with lower ph products like acids or vitamin c, so that also makes me wary. Pre and post biotics is a newer area of research and we will see a lot more products over the next few years. The other thing is the aloe - my skin doesn't really like aloe and only tolerates it in the latter part of the INCI list (high percentage aloe gel causes a massive rosacea flare for me). My hair also hates aloe in high percentages and it causes flash drying for me. It's a shame as aloe is in so many products targeted at very sensitive skin. When you actually look at aloe it is a mixture of a huge amount of compounds and is a recognised allergen. All in all not for me lol. Best wishes.
Hi Sarah, I'd be super interested in your thoughts on their sunnyside vit c serum. I've been looking for a vit c and tranexamic acid serum that isn't niacinamide heavy, and on paper this looks perfection! I'm very tempted to take the plunge. Have you looked into it? X
I think that is the one product from them I have yet to try! Next time it is on sale I'll have to pick it up. Are you in the US? The Bubble Day Dream might be worth checking out as well- and very affordable!
Sarah, are you sure sodium hypochlorite is prebiotic? I didn't find any reference anywhere that it's pre- or probiotic. This ingredient is apparently a bleach that changes to hypochlorous acid - already created by our bodies- at lover concentrations and lover PH (mixing with water/vinegar). I have some Holifrog products and am keen to try more, but the Utopia toner is one that I’m reluctant to put on my face due to that one ingredient (sodium hypochlorite).
I haven't tried any Holyfrog products yet , Idk about applecider vinager I do know that one Korean brand 107 uses fermented age vinager in their products and it seems to be popular but I'm iffy about putting vinager on my sensitive skin . Maybe that 107 toner could also be somewhat of a dupe I forget what it was called * microdrizzle toner
Ok I figured out the name for the possible dupe the 107 microdrizzle hydrating toner , I left it in my other comment but idk if u will see it after editing it 2 times.
I considered purchasing Holifrog skincare for Black Friday sale and was excited to try their gylee, vitamin"c, ,Aha serum, and retinol cream. However after reading their ingredients it's an easy pass. Their ingredients and formulations are nothing special or effective. I don't think I'll ever purchase anything from them.
Very expensive product for what it is, there are many others without water as a first ingredient at a fraction of the price. Also, it did absolutely nothing for my skin.
