I know Holland America generally caters to an older age group, but while I'm only 21, I think I would prefer to go on a cruise like this than the typical Carnival/Royal Caribbean/Norwegian experience. I like how the focus is on where you're going and what you're seeing rather than making the ship into a floating theme park. I also really like the idea of the different music venues. I think I would enjoy them all.
For me and my wife (Taylor speaking) we love Oceania exactly for that reason. We enjoy classical music, and a more laid back feel. String quartets, great jazz, and a great coffee shop on all of the Oceania ships make it our happy place.
Ya lol im close in age and thinking I might really like this, I love royal when with the whole family because it has something for everyone but might go on something like this when it’s only me and my husband in the future
Whenever I'm not sure how to pronounce a cruise ship name I come here. I know Eurodam can't be pronounced that many ways but I still like to check! So thanks! ;D
Very nice overview of the Eurodam. Wife and I spent four days on that very ship a couple of years ago. Even though it was a short trip, it was one of the nicest, most relaxing vacations I ever had. The staff were all very professional and courteous. The food was amazing. Best steak I've ever had in my life was in the Tamarind Restaurant. I think we spent at least two hours a day in the Greenhouse spa, lounging in the steam bath and the hydropool.
You did a great job of describing Lincoln Center Stage. What an amazing entertainment venue. The musicians are outstanding, acoustics are great and it makes for a wonderful, relaxing interlude several times a day!
Thanks to Danny's videos, I'm booked in 2022 for my first cruise ever - on the Eurodam, in an aft Neptune suite with the wraparound deck!! It's a long time to wait, and I have a feeling by the time I see the ship for the first time I'll have seen this video *several* more times. I've loved the information presented and the way it's been presented in all of Danny's videos. Thank you so much, Harr Travel. Some day I'll have the time off for a long trip, and I'll definitely give you a call!
I never been on a Holland American cruise it does have that classic beauty of older ships you did another great tour most of my cruises have been on Carnival i been on a few Norwegian.... I will have to book the Eurodam and try it out... And I decided to subscribe to your videos
wow i love the multi-use sports court! when i was on the harmony of the seas the basketball court was good but the balls were old and there was only a few of them. these basketballs look good and very fun to play with!
Mid '61 crossed the Atlantic on the S.S. United States...I was 4 & 1/2 yrs old. Due to a screw up, my brother & I got a cabin fore & our parents were aft. Story goes, I was sick for the first day & a half...a holey terror for the next 3 & a half...dang that was a fast ship, shame what's become of it. Anyway, when I'm ready for my "last-best" cruise, I'll holler. Thanks for the all of your information.
Hola Larry, I have been watching your tours of the cruise ships and i even enjoyed watching them. And Larry after the covid is over when you and your family members will go on your next cruise i am just wondering if you and your camera man could video blog behind the scenes with a group tour or a family friends tour. Way back in 2003 there was seven of us that went on a cruise to st keys.
Danny, this is great. I've seen your Royal Carrieban, Norweigan, and Disney cruise reviews. But I am cruising on Carnival August 30th for my first time, by any chance, do you do have anything for Carnival?
Hello Danny i enjoyed your video blogs! After the covid is over when you and your family will plan go on your next cruise. I am wondering if you could video blog behind the scenes of the cruise ship that you are on.
if you book say a Spa Veranda room, do you get to use all the Spa features such as : Hydro therapy pools, the heated rock lounge chair, steam rooms, thermal suite area ?
It is a similar ship structure. I referenced it in the dining room, but you definitely see similarities of Carnival, Costa, and Cunard ships of the same era.
s a b a d o/Theswitcher27 ... I wonder if there’s a way to tie his hands? I’m seasick from his hands failing about. 😫. ❤️his knowledge and presentations but those hands 🙄
@@HarrTravel is there anything fun to do for some mid 20 year olds? I'm halfway through the video and haven't seen anything like a nightclub or anything like that
As a person who talks with their hands I'm feeling a little defensive here! :) It's some genetic throwback for me; my sisters constantly made fun of me growing up for how constant (and unconscious) my hand gestures were. Looks normal to me! :)
