I can’t stop watching and listening to both versions of this song. Grew up in a trailer full of abuse and no money, this gives me chills. I still live in a trailer but I teach my kids what real love is I chose not to be like my dad or my moms boyfriends over the years. Don’t ever lay a hand on a woman unless your life is in jeopardy because yes I’ve lived through an abusive wife that tried to kill me which is why I say that. ❤ this whole thing is a masterpiece and it shows reality of the way most of us grew up.

Saw SWJ here in the UK when he supported Brothers Osborne last year. Some folks weren't sure as the slide guitar guy was a bit out there, but SWJ and his lyrics were special. Definitely wanna see this guy on his own turf

I just saw Stephen at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall last night. Holy shit! He is so good. He out shinned the act he was opening for (Lone Below, and they were very good!) Scary powerful and amazingly gentle. He dug deep and left it all on the stage. He has a true gift. You gotta see him live.
