It is just so interesting to hear those guys talking about their history; in retrospect when as a teen driving the old folks crazy with guitar rehearsal of - also - the Hollies songs; mercy beat songs...Shad, Beatles; Cliff.; my fav by Hollies was then Yes I will and Sorry Susann...On one of my cycle trips from Glasgow down to Brighton, I ended up in Nelson, off the beaten track, and the bar man said "one of the Hollies comes from here" - so, isn't life strange; path crosses, thanks for sharing
Such candour and intimacy....what a trip for this lifelong fan! Graham letting Allan into the Post office after hours... LMAO! Stories to feast on for a long time to come. My order has gone to Amazon...can't wait!
Nash in fact is a double coat... He left the Hollies because according to his very own words he could not stand them anymore because they did not respect "his huge talent" and betrayed his pal Clarke... and left behind the band. Afterwards and when the drugs and excesses finished CSNY he came back to The Hollies with his tail into his legs pleading to be accepted again. Nash is so cheap and evil that he takes the whole credits of The Hollies for himself. Nash is a real crunk of shit himself. Not even his sons want speak with him. The last statement is a confession he made in his own words.
