hk fandom is ass. when i first beat radiance in around 5 tries, i asked if the boss was supposed to be hard in somewhere like reddit i dont really rmember and then someone told me "youre not special kid i beat radiant markoth". like i dont give a fuck im just asking a question
My favorite part of his streams is even when he’s muted if someone asks for his charm setup, he finds time after beating a boss to pull up his charms and go through them.
"Welcome to the Salty Spitoon, how tough are ya?" "How tough am I? I beat Pantheon of Hallownest" "Yeah, so?'" "What do you mean 'yeah so?'" "You're right. Sorry to keep you waiting."
@Krish Nair I get your point. As a game we can learn the boss mechanics, patterns and cheeses, but in-universe the knight would only be fighting everything once, so he would need to take the time to learn attack patterns, THEN kick their asses without a problem, but not as fast or ridiculous as this.
I disagree because the knight is a vessel and to quote the Pure Vessel's removed dream nail dialogue vessels have 'no mind to think'. The knight is literally a hollow husk without the player controlling it
@@rattyxoxo7397 but then how did the vessels climb out of the abyss? Why did they give THK a nail? How did our knight get out of the abyss to kings pass?
The most insane thing about this is that it's less than 2 minutes slower than the video where someone uses cheats to one-shot every boss in the Pantheon.
Fury of the Fallen is insane and generally speaking if you get hit in a speedrun you're doing it wrong (except times like Oro&Mato fight in the video), Mask Binding is (un)surprisingly great for speedruns!
@@jimmyh2137 well that is, if you get hit in the speedrun in p1 except during oro and mato and dung defender, in all other fights you have lifeblood for a reason
I love how all these videos specify that you can beat every boss back-to-back at their angriest in the time that it takes to cook a lasagna, while I worry if I'm gonna be able to do it at all in my lifetime.
Imagine the face of the godseeker, seeing how the knight just destroy every god in hallownest in just seconds, and some of them without the chance of attack at all~
Man monStah you are insane i remember when the WR was 22 minutes and now u managed to get it down to 17 minutes, when us mortals take 40 minutes to beat this pantheon. Hats off to you Sir
@@llamakorn according to steam achievements, the difficulty of this pantheon is between "steel soul mode completion" and "completing the game in under 5 hours" i can't even do the small pantheons
@@hahatdog2486 M&K is generally much better for 3D games like FPSs, as well as RTS games, allowing for impossibly precise actions most people just can't do on a controller. But 2D games work much better with controllers because you barely have to move your fingers at all to reach certain controls, they're just right there so your response time is faster. Because you're more or less only moving in 8 directions (up, down, left, right, and the inbetweens) and not literally any direction like in a 3D game, moving a thumbstick lets you maneuver your character more freely and quickly than pressing down on a key and moving your fingers to another key to change direction. Slightly faster, but you'll feel the difference. With the exception of some people (and a few games), like MonStahLer here, so can probably do just as well on a controller as M&K.
wait, did i just see that correctly? someone was able to dodge soul tyrant's move "move slowly from one end to the other"? i think this might be the first speedrun i see where this happens xD
uumuu is a fun concept i like that they changed him from "wait until your ally hits him" to "hit him with those things you hate" but he's not really a fun part of the pantheon, as the concept isn't really fun for a second time
Is it weird that sometimes i imagine the knight is real and doing the pantheons like this saying "i just don't care anymore" while flipping of the god seeker
unless you can avoid getting hit 100% of the time extremely consistently, don’t rely on it. Speedrunners use it because they know they can dodge everything and so the extra damage is super useful. for casuals or nonspeedrunners, fury of the fallen doesn’t see much use.
@@eternal_shrimp I just bought hollow knight so I don’t know everything about this but with all those extra masks they had (the blue ones and the gold ones), don’t they have more than enough for it to be a liability.
@@Coran_06 The gold ones are locked because of the health binding and the blue ones (lifeblood) are what he uses to tank hits since they don't count towards fury of the fallen. You only get lifeblood at the benches and lifeblood cannot be regenerated. You would have to go through each wave of bosses while taking very few hits on each boss, and the first wave of bosses you would have to go through while being 1-hit.
After reading the description, I have to wonder something. What, if every single boss had optimal RNG and you played perfectly, what do you think the time could go down to? Amazing job on this tho, keep up the great work! :)
@@ProfessionalPickler It's worth noting there's time in-between rounds to heal (since otherwise you're just waiting around), though I don't think healing is much of a problem in this run anyway. S'means less soul for spells though.
Have Team Cherry ever contacted you? I have like months without even playing Hollow Knight and now that I want to beat this pantheon i find out you still the best player on the world, you are great lol
Can you imagine this tiny demon dashing towards you dodging every thing you throw at him bobing and weaving around you inflicting ungodly pain and suffering that would be blood chilling
@@thisisahumanlol8255 yeah, we "defeated" him in the colloseum ONLY because it was his will. Had he showed us no mercy, even Abs Rad would be begging for Zote to spare her.
eu demoro 40 min chorando pra fazer o ultimo panteão, essa run perfeita foi somente em 17:45 min, definitivamente Monstahler deveria ser um boss dificil de se bater em Silksong, voce é uma lenda cara !
i love that you hit in tune to the music after bosses. its amazing. i do it too and its just. mmh yes EDIT: THE ENDING SKDJDS *unmuting sounds, adjusting sounds* "...ez"
