The only reason they even managed to cause trouble for you at Uumuu was because you chose to mess with them and reveal yourself to the one you passed by, rather than just taking care of Uumuu. It was pretty close, but only because you alerted them to your position; rather than waiting for them to use one of their three.

I prefer not having to announce abilities since sneaky parts are the most entertaining to watch.

i loved this round, i like how the hunters are actively hunting you down not just camping the whole time, the way LizzardLady chases and tries to keep you in her sight puts like a constant low pressure on, not overwhelming pressure. the whole part around 23:33 where LizzardLady and RedBert kept interrupting the crystal dash and the whole elevator thing was one of my favourite parts. Also the 26:26 part where you passed RedBert and went back to see him 'attempting' to camp was hilarious, I love how he was explaining what he's trying to do and all of a sudden be like "wait what" when he got a glimpse of you. The new rules are great and I'm glad everyone seems to have a great time. A few times when you just brush past them and they didn't realize it was so entertaining to watch, makes me freeze up, expecting them to notify the others about your location but it never came and i'd be like 'phew'. I'm really looking forward to more hunter runs Forgot to say the Menderbug bit was also such a pleasant surprise, loved it. i try not to keep using the word awesome but everything really is awesome XD You bet I'm going to rewatch this quite a few times like all your other hunter vs speedrunner vids

One thing you could do in these is go fight Mantis Lords after you get the claw, since none of the hunters would ever think you'd go down there. You could also fight them for another easy way into deepnest for later. Just a suggestion!

Really liked this one, the rule change of not letting the benches be nearby important boss rooms definitely made it so the hunters couldn’t block you at a boss. Also good call on the extra mask, that saved you a few times

These videos are so much fun, as I'm a fan of Dream's manhunts too and doing it in Hollow Knight is so amazing! Keep doing them, I really enjoy them :D

It would be neat to see a team vs team race type game where each team has their own speedrunner and a couple hunters to target the enemy or help with skips. Not sure how it would function with unlocks if at all, but something like it might be interesting.

This was much funnier to watch I think this is a better set up then last time. The hunters last time felt much more Op. Still haven't watched the full through but I am enjoying it very much. You should try this set up with the hunters you played with last time too. I want to see you win against them lol.

Hell yeah I love these! A rule suggestion could be instead of some banned benches or some other Hunter limitation like no dreamgate, you could make it so that hunters can’t enter boss fights unless they come in with you I feel like this would make your life a lot easier, especially since uumuu was basically impossible with all 4 hunters with you in the arena

These videos are fun and the rules are getting fairer. But comments like "I'm just gonna camp in my spot and hit him every time" lay the biggest problem with these bare. The camping sucks the fun right out of these otherwise brilliant videos. It was also much more entertaining last time when the hunters had no idea which abilities or dreamers you had.

Hey Fireborn. I first played this game two years ago and it felt like a new magical feeling. I really love this game and come back to it from time to time. These series are really exciting for me since it brings back that feeling anew. Keep up the great work buddy and keep being a god gamer!

If you're tuning the ruleset for these Speedrunner vs Hunters showdowns, I have a few suggestions for consideration based on what I've seen so far. 1.a. Hunters get "x" lives per boss encounter, resetting if Speedrunner dies on that fight. (to prevent the same hunter(s) from entering the fight some 6 or more times in a single encounter) 1.b. If all hunters are present in at a boss fight, one hunter must sit out for each successful prevention of a boss kill, down to a limit of 1 or 2. (However, when one dies, another may enter.) (These would limit having the entire Hunter party camping a boss until the timer runs out, but without going so far as to say, "Okay, GG. That's "x" fails, I get to kill the boss without any interference now.") 2. (in addition to, or in place of the helplines) Every 15 minutes (or other time based on finetuning), the Speedrunner offers a hint to their location if they haven't been encountered in a reasonable amount of time, however only one Hunter may act on the tip until they get visual confirmation of the Speedrunner's location, at which point they may call it out for the other Hunters. 3. For each Dreamer slain, one Hunter gets to learn a Nail Art. Limit of 1 Nail Art per Hunter. When a nail art is claimed by a Hunter, it is no longer available as an option for the other Hunters. (so no army of spinning hunters.) Alternatively, the Hunter may choose to increase their masks by 1. Aside from those, some sort of "Speedrunner hunts The Hunters" rewards could be interesting, where every "x" increment of kills of The Hunters, (say 5 or 10), the Speedrunner gets a reward. ie: 5 kills - 500 geo, 10 kills - 2 mask shards, 15 kills - 1 or 2 notch charm of their choice, 20 kills - Nail upgrade, 30 kills - learn a spell of their choice And in turn, a Hunter's rewards system where The Speedrunner confirms who got the kill, which counts towards their own rewards. ie: 3 kills - may equip a 1 notch charm, 6 kills - may equip a 2 notch charm, 9 kills - gain 1 mask, 12 kills - may disable friendly fire, 15 kills - Learn Vengeful Spirit, etc This would lean into the PvP aspect of these Speedrunner vs Hunters games, and provide incentives for fighting. Successfully killing the Hunters would empower the Speedrunner, while in turn the more successful any one Hunter is, the more of a threat they become over time. (Although having to pop in-and-out of mods to claim your rewards might be disruptive to the flow of the gameplay, maybe a custom mod would be required?)

With each refinement this concept just keeps looking more and more fun. Loved that this ruleset kept the rate at which hunters where able to pile back in down to a somewhat more reasonable level so that fighting through a roadblock like Uumuu is more feasible and that there was a good mix of sneaky routing and needing to fight past hunters like with the wonderful shenanigans that went down in City. A fun bunch of hunters and a blast of a session to watch.

I absolutely love the new rules and setup, more fair and more cool!!!
