The writing in Broadcast News was so sharp and the characters so wonderfully quirky. But the relationship between Aaron and Jane was my favorite part..."I'll meet you at the place near the thing where we went that time"...shows the connection. We need more movies like this!

I love her acting skill. She has a southern accent and a lisp, it doesn't even matter. I wish she could get another role like the piano

YES!! It's a mistake to keep billing this film as "a romantic comedy" because in reality the "love triangle" is a distinct SECONDARY element, not the primary. The primary story is the breakdown of television news and journalism. Everything she predicted, EVERYTHING, and more, has now come to pass, and kudos to you for picking up on it.

Funny that William Hurt said “you’re crying because you’re scared” as I always thought Holly played Jane Craig with sort of a manic, nervous energy…..that worked quite well for the part!
