@@dandylion2279 Mmmm loved it so much that she packed it in after two albums. Regardless, her unreleased 'Antidote' is excellent. Could've easily been a single
I remember taping this back in the day as I had somewhere to be that night, but we didn't get a widescreen TV until about 2005, so it's interesting to see something from that awkward transition period where they were cutting back and forth between aspect ratios. I was surprised by how much of the "nude" shots they left in this special considering that it was given a G rating, and Video Hits had only left in two of them and cut the rest. I recall watching it on early morning Rage as well, but they had censored it a little differently as there was no official censored version of the clip, so Video Hits and Rage had to recycle bits of footage from elsewhere in the video in order to fill in those gaps, which was common practice back then. Nowadays, it would be virtually impossible to make a G rated music video show considering the raciness and coarse language featured in a lot of modern pop music. While I don't have Footprints, I noticed that it got a G rating from the government Classification Board, and I assume that it included the uncut version of the music video, which was a strange decision in hindsight as it would almost certainly get an M rating now as they have really come down hard on "sexualised imagery", which I don't necessarily agree with either as the have been excessively strict in some respects across the board while being excessively permissive in others.
