It is such a talent laden family and I have been listening to two of the greatest talents of all time, namely Hank & Hank Jr. for the past 50 years. I cannot say how great it is too see that this family has produced another one of the all time greats in Holly! I hope she comes to Canada soon...

Holly, this really touched me. Your grandparents sound a lot like my own parents- and my mom is named JUNE also. They grew up not far from your own great- grandfather in McWilliams, AL. In fact, before my father passed away, he wrote a book about his childhood in Oak Hill, AL, and there is mention of Hank Sr. in that book. This was a wonderful reminder of their love story of 47 years.

This song really hits...reminds me so much of my mother and father in-laws. Absolutely beautiful

Since seeing Holly perform this song down at ACL a couple weeks ago, I haven't been able to go a day without listening to it and thinking about my own grandparents and where they are now. I was driving along listening to NPR the other night....heard this song and was in tears before the song was over...I didn't know what Holly looked like but I think I fell in Love at first listen !!!! Hope to see her play in Philly in May !

What a beautiful song and sentiment. Holly is monumentally talented and proof that musical talent gets better with every generation and age, much like a fine wine. Her lineage should be so proud of her because she's doing her own thing. I have monumental respect for her and I'm generally an alt-rock / British rock fan. I saw Holly for the first time at the Ryman a few weeks ago as one of Vince Gill's guests in his benefit concert. She stole the show! This song seemed to touch everyone in the room. Amazing talent - compelling art. Can't wait to see her again.

My son and I saw her Thursday night in Asheville with Jason Isbell - I've gotten so calloused about marriage and relationships - Thank you, Holly, for reminding me that there was a time when people loved each other like that. Maybe it does still happen... I was fighting tears and so was my 18 year old son. Pretty amazing when songs can touch multiple generations :-)
