Thank you for the solid review, first time hearing about these mics and they sound great! I was actually considering the RODE GO II, though in my opinion these sound better. Thank you!

These sound incredible. I'd even say they're superior than the Wireless GO II's. The only part I don't like is the lack of lapel inputs. Still I might purchase these.

Totally agree, I was surprised as well. Though I do wish it had the lapel inputs too. It still works still good as it is though! 🙏

Good video! Thank you. Helps me decide on this vs the Comica Vimo and the Boya Mini.

You're very welcome. These are definitely the better of the three in my opinion 😊

I just got mine, and I'm still playing with it, teaching it to myself, etc. One of my main questions is this. What does mono vs stereo mean here? Is it a question of turning one lav mic on, and turning the other off? Or is it a question of each individual mic recording in mono mode or stereo mode? Are you following me?
@Addrian.
@Addrian. 2 месяца назад
Hey John, great question! And apologies on the delay getting back to you. Do the easiest and best way to understand is this. MONO you use for single person interviews while STEREO is great for two person set up. The LED indicator will turn blue when it's on STEREO. All you need to do is hold the mode button to switch it on. I'd still use two microphones if you're doing a two person recording. I'd recommend just sticking with mono and then later on bringing it in post and making each mono track stereo. Because there isn't much advantage of selecting stereo over mono for a two person set up especially if the mic is going to be only on one person.

Did you find you had to add a lot of gain in post to get a good volume? I have just received mine and I am getting max volumes of -40 in Logic when I'm recording in directly via USB C.
@Addrian.

Hey bro sorry this went under my radar! Yeah I definitely noticed you had to add a lot of gain post, but generally speaking there was no noise in the audio. It was pretty clean throughout!

I found connecting in directly through type c is not the ideal setup. Use the 3.5 to 3.5 into a mic in on your pc

With the Lark M1, when connected to a GoPro, can a single TX create stereo audio?
@Addrian.
@Addrian. 11 месяцев назад
Hey Ryan. Yes you can record mono or stereo. The volume down button acts as a mode button that allows you to select mono or stereo.

With my Sumsung I dont have a mic input, just a type C connection. Is it possible to connect with bluetooth??
@Addrian.
@Addrian. 7 месяцев назад
There's no Bluetooth available for these, however you could get an aux to type c adapter that could work!

Sure. How are you planning to do that? 😂

I’m a singer and I was wondering. Can the microphone pick up the sound of my piano I turn on the noise cancellation
@Addrian.
@Addrian. 11 месяцев назад
Hey Chandlier, yes it definitely should and will. The noise cancellation is more for wind / rumbling / low and high frequencies. The piano would still be heard as normal.

Can a lav mic be attached to the mic units?
@Addrian.
@Addrian. Год назад
Hey Tony, unfortunately not on these. These are very similar go the DJI wireless mics. They work just from the attachment themselves. Though I would argue they sound better than the RODE wireless go IIs.

@@Addrian. Thank you very much. I asked the question based on the thought of having the mics placed on a bride's wedding gown, which seem a bit too much. However, I am thinking that because of its miniature size, it could be placed inside the neck of the gown.
@Addrian.
@Addrian. Год назад
@@TonyRush21 yeah Tony, absolutely you can clip them on the clothes internally rather than externally and they actually sound great. They're very compact and the quality is great. Alongside the battery life, you got a winner. Hope that helps.

how do i import the audio to a computer?

Through its port on the receiver or if you're recording through the camera it'll be on your video files.

What do you do when the transmitter or receiver doesn’t cut on?
@Addrian.
@Addrian. Год назад
I'm not sure what you mean by cut on. Can you explain it in a little more detail?
@_chrisgunther
@_chrisgunther Год назад
@@Addrian. Yes. I just got the Hollyland Lark M1 wireless mic system. According to the videos, it says that it should immediately be ready to work however the mics aren’t working. The transmitter and the receiver both aren’t coming on.
@Addrian.
@Addrian. Год назад
@@_chrisgunther thats unusual, let me see if I can help. You may be using the wrong cord and that's why it's not syncing. There's a mobile 3.5mm cord and one for camera. Make sure the middle one (transmitter) is on camera and set the camera volume down to -3 then when you get the transmitters it should work. Have you attempted this?
@_chrisgunther
@_chrisgunther Год назад
@@Addrian. I haven’t tried this yet simply because I can’t get it to cut on.
@Addrian.
@Addrian. Год назад
@@_chrisgunther you'll need to connect the right cord though in order for it to work. Give it a go and see if it helps.
