@@buffycatnip One of the worst soap whodunnits imo. It was dragged out way too long and most of the motives were very weak. Ryan killed Amy... because she discovered he was gay... **facepalm**
Rumbidzo Madamombe Emmette said that. Technically, Leah is actually not Ste's but another lad Amy had sex with in her teens. Kathy wanted the kids but lost it and shot Ste and Mike trusted Ryan because of his job and never liked Ste
I had a feeling Ryan killed Amy, I thought I could be wrong because he keeps saying he loved her. Ryan is a monster. Why marry Amy when he keeps cheating on her? I don't understand. He's a sick man. I hope he gets what's coming to him.
I’m not surprised at all, The clips showed Amy getting up after Harry left. Ryan is the killer, no wonder he didn’t want Amy’s body exhumed. I I just hope they won’t drag it for too long before he’s revealed. Can’t wait
Jordan Poyant but he didn't kill her, which what this whole reveal is about... revealing Amy's killer, which isn't Harry. So in terms of him being a killer, he's innocent
+KDS0824 he still knocked her out he still left her so when the police do find out about Ryan killing Amy he will still go to prison cause if harry never pushed her she could of pushed ryan
you see their was something fishy about him that why he didnt want to tell tony it was him who killed amy he want to let people think they killed her even thou it was him 😦😠
Part of me even feels sorry for him, for the the fact that he's so ashamed to come out as gay. It's understandable from where he's coming from, but murdering someone else is totally inexcusable. I think his dad probably disowned him, or he got bullied in school... I'm glad to see that the show is portraying mental health issues amongst the LGBT community though... not just it happening to Scott but a whole variety of people like Ryan and Kim...
@Liam She wasn’t homophobic, she married two men who pretended to be straight when they knew they were gay and cheated on her. She specifically hated those two gays. Really different. Homophobic is just being against gays in general for no real rhyme or reason.
Hollyoaks filmed several endings and one of those was a mystery person, are we ever going to find out who that was? Also why did Leah have blood on her hands? Great episodes though loved it😁😛🙌🏻
I keep seeing the random comment that even though Ryan actually killed her; Harry is still an evil person because he left her there without calling for help. But he thinks he killed her. The guilt from hurting someone to actually killing them are completely different.
1:22 "EVERYONE, RYAN IS GAY!" "Alright! I'm not gay!" "I MARRIED A GAY!" "AMY, I'M NOT GAY! JUST SHUT UP, ALIGHT JUST SHUT UP!!! The ending is not funny but that part just got to me 😂
The problem with this solution is that it is too creative for it`s own good. Not only would both the call Amy listened to on her phone (cause in order for there to be a voicemail, someone had to have called Amy`s phone - whether that was an accidental call caused by speed dial inside Ryan`s pocket, or a deliberate set up by Kyle to expose Ryan to his wife, it would have appeared on the transcripts from Amy`s mobile provider. And than Ryan would have had to come up with an explanation of why he called his new wife in the middle of their wedding night, and left a voicemail. A voicemail which would have been retrievable, if the police requested it to be retrieved, and would be so for six months, since EU regulations requires digital information to be stored that long. All that is required is the time and date, plus the phone the voicemail is connected too, and off course a legal foundation to access the information. Which the police would have had, since it is routine to compare mobil company phone records to the call log on the actual phone, to check if something has been deleted), but also the time lapsed between her head wound inflicted during the confrontation with Harry and her fresher injuries and marks caused by the fatal attack by Ryan would have come to light during the post mortem, and therefore the police very soon would have known both Ryan that had been sleeping with a man that night, and also that Amy was attacked twice that night, but was killed from injuries sustained in the second attack (which actually looked like strangulation - but if it was, the pathologist conducting the post mortem should be charged with criminal negligence and incompetence, cause it is IMPOSSIBLE to mistake death by strangulation for a blow to the head). If Ryan shook her, and that shake caused a hemorrhage inside her brain to bleed more intensely, or simply put her into shock - a shock that proved lethal cause her head had had as much as it could take that night, her death could be found not to have been intentional, but a tragic accident as a result of the first head injury Ryan only knew from a mark on her forehead. But that again would have depended on whether the first injury in itself would have been lethal over time, or whether Ryan shook her so violently it would be found to prove intent to harm or kill. If his shaking of her just speeded up her death, he could not fairly be convicted of murder. Only if he could be proven to have shook her so violently death would be a distinct possibility, he could have been charged with intent to kill. Other charge options are grievous bodily harm resulting in death or actual bodily harm resulting in death. But regardless how you spin this, Hollyoaks - the solution doesn`t click nicely together with the evidence, as it should in a proper whodunit. Both because Amy`s cause of death, and that fatal voicemail providing Ryan motive, would have been discovered early in the investigation - and because if Ryan killed Amy, Harry wore Ste`s trainers when he stepped in Amy`s blood, it is hard to imagine why Armstrong should be so intent on getting Ste to confess he provided him with information the police normally would have held back to help them exclude false confessions. But not the least how he could have known a partial print found in Amy`s blood on the crime scene to be a match for trainers who had been in a shoe box seized from Ste`s home. When the forensic technicians not even had an actual sole of a suspect to compare to the print, how could they have realized Ste`s trainers would be a match only four days after Amy was killed? And how could they have known there wasn`t more soles with similar patterns to the print in the blood? They couldn`t possibly have checked all the soles ever made to a PARTIAL print in only 4 DAYS! The fact is the only reasonable explanation Armstrong new Ste`s trainers to be a match for that print, would have been because he himself made that print, and when he came across the shoe box searching Ste`s home, he realized he could use that print to frame Ste for the killing. That would explain both why he was so persistent Harry was lying when he gave Ste an alibi for that night, and why he during the interview was so generous to inform Ste about everything he needed to know to make a convincing confession. Armstrong needed someone caught soon, cause the longer the investigation dragged out, the more likely he would ahve been of being replaced as lead investigator on the case. Which meant he would have lost control, and could find himself among the suspects himself. So he needed to "solve" the case quickly - and Ste was the best option to achieve that. That would also have explained why Armstrong didn`t have divers into the pond to retrieve the item he saw James - Amy`s next door neighbour - dump into it the pond the night of Amy`s killing. Something he, when learned Amy had been killed and he himself was appointed head investigator, immediately would have suspected could be linked to Amy`s death. The only reason he wouldn`t have had the pond searched, was if he already knew what James dumped. But how could he have known that, unless he himself was responsible for it somehow? Like if he, after having discovered he had stepped in Amy`s blood after killing her, realized he had to get rid of the shoes he wore, couldn`t walk in them, cause the blood could leave a trail that could be tracked. So he removed his shoes, but realizing he would attract attention walking with them in his hands, decided to push them into the brief flap on James` front door instead. Thinking James being a defense attorney would assume the trainers contained something which could link him to Amy`s killing, and pushing them into his house therefore was an attempt to frame him for having killed Amy. For that reason James would be more likely to destroy or dispose of the evidence, than to turn it into the police. But in case he should chance the latter, Armstrong made sure he was close by, so he accidentally could run into James, and save him the trip to the police station. Afterwards, Armstrong could simply replace the actual shoes, with a different pair of shoes, and himself dispose of the incriminating shoes. All in all, Hollyoaks, I feel logic dictates Armstrong to be a far more likely killer than both Harry and Ryan. As much as the motive and tragic circumstances - denial about his own sexual identity, and fear his real self was to be exposed - in itself I find very solid and convincing as a murder motive. In combination with the rest of the story line, and what has been revealed, it seems more like a desperate afterthought to cover up the fact many viewers had solved the riddle sooner than what you had expected, and you therefore needed a plan B. But a plan B which isn`t solidly linked to reality and facts is, I am afraid, not a very good back up plan. Both the post mortem and the mobile phone transcripts should have put Ryan in the frame much sooner - and also shortened Ste`s time in jail, and made Harry realize he wasn`t the one who killed Amy a long time ago.
I know Iv'e already commented but, this is just INSANE!!!!!!!! can't believe it was Ryan all along, I kinda wanted to think that it was Ryan since he's been so rude and trashy to Ste "before" Amy was even killed. and then I started to think that it was either James or Armstrong (Gavin) but after seeing this clip I was like , holy shit, it was "Ryan" all along
ItSophiaD88 It really takes a long time until the real killer is finally revealed! 🙄 I just hope that Breda will get caught soon before she kills someone else who happens to also be an innocent Father! 😲😮😟😰😱😨
Man i thought it was him at the beginning but then he was with someone else that night so i thought it wasn't him. I guess he came home afterwards, did not expect that.
MOONLIGHTS_V James being Amy's killer wouldn't have made sense; He barely knew her. I'm just glad the writers didn't pull a Bobby Beale and make Leah or Lucas the killer XD!
I guess Ryan really had serious internal strife with himself, because if he had only came to Amy and explained his sexual confusion instead of continuously cheating...odds are that she would have been able to forgive him and move on. Who knows? they could have even remained friends since Amy and the rest of the village seem to be pretty open-minded about sexuality. It truly wasn`t that deep sigh...now the kids are left without a mum and there has been all this strife.
Worst storyline ever as everybody knew it was him and the storyline was supposed to be revealed in August 2017 !! But nope let’s reveal it months later !! It’s like the who killed Lucy storyline in Eastenders !! She was killed in April 2014 then the killer was supposed to be revealed April 2015 but then they move it to may 2016!!
