It's not really surprising that Diane Krüger, or actually Heidkrüger, and Schwarzenegger speak German since they come from Germany and Austria respectively. Sandra Bullocks Mother was German so she grew up speaking German and may I add, that although she does have a slight accent in her German, it is almost flawless in grammer and pronounciation!
Fendtrian Official RU-vid Channel She does, butIf getting der, die, das wrong is the only problem you have with German, than your doing a fucking good job. I take it your a native speaking German? Without any offence, but can you explain to someone why a certain thing is male or female or even neutral? Than try to explain why certain male words become female when conjucated/declinated? I couldn't! I know native speaking Germans who speak worse German than Sandra or other non-native speakers for that matter (using wie instead of als e.g.). You have to realize that German is one of the most difficult standard languages to learn, not only in Terms of Grammer but also pronounciation (Hardly anyone outside of the German Speaking are can pronounce a germen "r" e.g. I have a friend from England who has lived in Germany almost 30 years and is married to a native speaking German. His German is so good, that not only can you rarely hear an accent, but he actually corrects us on grammar. Still to this day, he can't get the "r" right! :) Taking all that into account, I can only say chapeau Frau Bullock! :)
Jerome Ohlrogge Yeah the Als/wie/ Als wie is one of the parts that 80 % of the germans didnt learn right or even learn at all. And Der die das is something i cant explain it needs time and practise to learn but your teacher needs to be a good teacher otherwise you wont learn it.
Just to give you an Idea of how hardcore the austrian accent is, to this day, any german or austrian listining to Arni speak english can instanly tell, that he's austrian! He still speaks english with an austrian accent!
"Ich kann nicht mehr" und "nein danke" hat er wirklich gut gesagt! Hat sich Akzentfrei angehört! Lustig dass er grade diese zwei Sätze bei seiner Oma gelernt hat:)
Donna Summer spoke fluently german and she was American.she didn't have german mother or german father .but an austrian husband and she wanted learn german .I heard german interview when she was over 60 and she still spoke very clear and fluently.
He was in Graz/Austria a few times where they named a sportshall after him. His speech in the local dialect was perfect. No difference to a native speaker who lives there, though he uses some english words (We always do, but not that much). I'm sure you'll never loose your mother's tongue, moving to another country at 19 or older.
Austrian German does tend to sound a bit smoother, especially to me as a north German. In General the further south you go, the dialects tend to sound easier on the ear than the northern ones (in a sense of flow, not necessarily comprehensibility), but that's just my impression. I'm sure there is a linguistic reason for that, but that is far from my area of expertise!
@@jayanthony3006 agree 100%, I've got friends from the North of Germany (Hannover and Bremer area) and they sound completely different to my ear as you said not in terms of comprehension just in terms of sweetness of the accent! 👍
Arni is from Austria (where people are German native speakers as well). But they speak with a very strong Austrian accent (which is easy to understand). But when they start with their Austrian dialect (also on German basis and reminds me of Bavarian dialect), most Germans will not be able to understand it.
Funny just saw Sandra Bullock in Excellent german. Arnold Schwarzennegger is from a German-speaking country and NEVER actually learned to speak perfect English. Very heavy accent
funny thing about this, because austria was founded by German nobles as a defense territory that's actually in the south-east of Germany. Sooo I think it can't be denied that it could be from this.
I'll explain as I should have in the first place, there is an actor named Christoph Waltz who is Austrian/German ethnically. He has said he is nationally Austrian and that the "Deutscher" has very little sense of humor and Austrians have a great one, it just came across as being insecure about himself, apologies and good day!
@STDrepository hitler was from austria, but he didn't really have an austrian accent. since arnold is from styria, he speaks a certain styrian accent from the south of styria (a part of austria) and even when he's trying to speak standard german, his accent is very dominant.
I love Diana, have you heard her speak english with american accent? Lovely, saw a recent movie she did so, I could not recognize her because in most roles she speaks english with a soft german accent.
@brightlights456X usually words used in "higher-german" r known in entire germany, but within the different cultures they use their own expressions. for example "coffin" means in standard german "Sarg", but in Berlin they say "Erdmöbel", thats something like "earthfurniture". that and their dialect and their pronounciation make it hard to understand them all. its like learning 20 different languages... XD
I disagree. I live within walking distance of his parents' house (okay, maybe it's a long walk, but you can walk!), and I really really don't talk that way! My German and my English sound completely different from his. But I like him talking that way. It's just Arnie!
I'm of German origin myself, born in Russia and learnt German just a bit. But I understand Arnold much more then pure Germans.
Heidkrüger... well. Elsewise it would travel through history.
