Seeing the Chinese theater brings lots of memories. How time flies, it was back in 2005. Walked all of hollywood blvd, did the hollywood sign, santa monica pier, its a must visit.
I found this very interesting and thanks for posting - it's amazing where one can go these days in the comfort of your own home - the internet is a wonderful thing!!
I've watched several of these videos recently, and every one says "this is Jack Nicholson's house" they all can't be right, these tours guides can just make up anything they want
Wow,the houses were huge and some the up the whole block.I have to get back out to Cali so I can enjoy that great weather and Hott women.Great video !!$$
Are there any vlogs on RU-vid of where the STARS of YESTERYEAR used to live, I'm talking stars of the 1930's, 1940's, 50's and 60's .I'm 51 now and while i do like today's stars I'm MORE into the one's of yesteryear.
JOHN PETTY check out Jordan the Lions channel. He does a lot of vlogs on old Hollywood stars and their homes. He’s got so much interesting stuff in his vlogs!
with which company did you go on this tour? im maybe going to LA and i would love to this this kind of things, its really freakin amazing and intresting! Sacer Ktracho
I'm pretty sure these tour guides just stop at random houses with a list of celebrity names and go through the list to each random house until that part of the tour is done. I highly doubt any stars actually live in any of these houses they stop by. they buy houses that give them proper privacy.
They have a legal business permit with the City, they can get sue if they lie. They work like actual companies and also are require to ask home owners (celebrities ) to pass by their neighborhood for tourist to film .
its called social stratification/purification. ple with $ /common interests live and socialize together. doctors , lawyers. geeks. billionnaires. so it goes for celebs. they will not go to meet ple from the ghetto, nooooooo!
That's not the Gone With the Wind house. That house was built on a studio backlot in Culver City in 1939. And it was torn down in 1959. It had square columns and the house he showed on the tour has round columns. He was not being truthful.
I remember going into Laurel Canyon and visiting the home of Bojack Horseman. They tried to pass it off as the home of David Boreanaz but I knew better. The cops raided the place so we all fled, some of the visitors looted the place, I just sneaked in without paying.
What about Aaron Spelling's mansion?? I drove there but all I saw was trees, Do you know if there's a way to see it? I believe it was next to the playboy mansion
Susan Dee yes! I seen it before. It was just across Sean Duffy combs. Which was down the street from the play boy mansion. But I know that he was right on a few of the house in this video. So hopefully it's all true lol
I want to clear something out. First sorry about the chewing, when decided to record the video it was NOT my intention to put it on RU-vid, It was a random video like a lot of my videos that I do, something for myself, but later on It came to my mind to upload it. So this video is not a professional video nor ever have the intention to be. So I apologize. The porpuse of uploading the video was just to share it but the main reason of recording it was not even close to share it. But I did. I'm not a professional on videos and this is a result of having nothing to do at home. Haters chill out!!! ;-)
Thanks for posting, you still did a great job, i wanted to see this because I was on the same street about 3 weeks ago, i saw the MJs house and Eddie Murphy but didn't see most, some may of moved out to somewhere else but i saw most.
Very beautiful but that would SUCK to live there!! Having all those tour guide busses driving and stopping by your house a few times every hour ugh!! If I were that rich or a celeb I would def live somewhere far far away...
Can someone tell me what he is talking about at 11:50? The Fresh Prince house is in Brentwood and can't be seen from the street like this. What house is this? And I can't find anything online about the Gone with the Wind mansion. And certainly nothing that says both Fresh Prince and GWTW used this mansion for filming. This makes me question everything this tour guide is saying.
That's not the Gone With the Wind mansion. That mansion was a facade built on the backlot of Selznick Studios in Culver City. It was torn down in 1959. A lot of what the tour guide says is not true.
What a shame nowadays these beautiful Beverly Hills and Hollywood homes, where once such classy and dignified entertainers as Lucille Ball, Jack Benny, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Stewart once lived, are now populated by the likes of such vermin as "Puff Daddy," Madonna and Justin Timberlake; creatures who, in the former, truly glamorous era of Hollywood wouldn't be fit to line the trash cans of the real "stars." With "celebs" such as those latter mentioned now living in these homes, won't be long before these abodes comprise a low-rent district.
Those tour bus people in Hollywood that always try to press taking a tour on you really give me the creeps. It's like "I said no. I don't care what kind of deal you want to offer me. Fuck off."
Most of these houses. had the same look about them, I didnt find them appealing, more scary really, all that vulgar wealth, hidden behind high walls, and electronic gates, something sad there, give me an english cottage, and a washing line full, and blowing in the breeze!
linda lee . I may be wrong but I don't think Americans use washing lines very much, they all seem to have clothes dryers. Though having said that, I do have a dryer because I live in the UK where we can't rely on the weather, but I agree with you that there's nothing like freshly aired laundry when it hasn't been been raining.
1965 Paul rapp ny dad from Beverly high and bendict canyon put me in thé opening écran of thé wild angels with peter fonda smoking à joint we loved theluau restraint of Beverly hills
Why did you record this? what happens if you had all that money and you brought that kinda of house? would you want someone to come and record where you live? and put it all over youtube now people know where they live no wonder selena gomez and taylor swift and all them getting their houses broken in too
That house was never in Gone With the Wind. The house that was in Gone With the Wind was called Tara. It was a facade which was built on the backlot at Selznick Studios in Culver City. That facade was torn down in 1959. The other house in the film was Twelve Oaks. It was a matte painting placed in front of the camera at Selznick Studios. The tour guide needs to get his facts right.
Yes, I’m wondering how much of this video is wrong too because that is definitely NOT the house from Fresh Prince. Plus I watched another tour video and the guide in that video said Janet Jackson owned the house that he said was owned by the Guess designer.
i cant believe people are that stupid to think they live in those houses...jesus christ...they move all the time, and live in gated communities....and the tour should be called, "the random gates and fence tour"
Hi Everyone, I just upload a new video from my last trip to The Hoover Dam. I hope you guys like it and enjoy. Comment and subscribe to my channel.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EuASXbAiuyw.html
dhide14 Each and every one of them simply lied. Most (95%) of these tours never even attempt any legit research or travel in the actually neighborhoods.
Hey guys I got another video about LA Echo Park and the pedal boats. I hope you enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BLDA2f9rj_o.html
Hey guys, its me again. Check out my new video. Candy Cane lane in woodland hills California. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4zKSZe_-WcA.html
To "Chica Beatuy": I agree. I think a tour guide of Hollywood homes, or any tour guide really, ought be trained in elocution and proper diction, not to forget better manners which would not include the chewing of gum while speaking before the paying public. But, somehow, a crude and undignified guide seems apropos for a tour of neighborhoods where now crude and undignified "celebs" are residing in their pretensions to fame. And, one supposes, the customers of such tour buses are also of a lower caliber, no doubt also chewing gum, cellular devices all but surgically attached to their persons, and wearing the proverbial "flip-flops," beer guts and "hair scrunchies" in full view (the former not necessarily adorning only the men, the latter not only the women). My, how we have "evolved" as a society!
No stars live there lol. They all live in gated communities or elsewhere. Sure they might have owned those houses, but they don't live there. Only music chairmen and other random folk in the industry who aren't really known live there.
