Really interesting what he said about low budget comedies, there must be a few exceptions though.. Napoleon Dynamite comes to mind with only a budget of 400k but became a big hit. Can anyone else think think of any other exceptions?

There are lots of comedies which turned into big hits with a budget around the 10 to 20 mio mark. For example American Pie, Superbad, The Intouchables. But that's still a way higher budget league, than what Blumhouse startet out with.
