All I can say is that Gloria was a top class actress and personality loved by me in all her films.

Anyone who has had cancer or seen a loved one go through the cancer treatments knows why she didn't want to do more of it! The treatments in the 80's where very harsh and even today aren't much better. The one thing that has gotten better is finding it sooner but even with that you got to have a good team of professionals that take the time to listen to you and look carefully at the test results! With the health costs in the U.S.A. you're better off being in England. If she had treatments in the U S. all her money would have been gone in no time. Pay $5000.00 a shot or higher it doesn't take long for your money to be used up. Cancer's a true Bitch! Once your body starts messing with you it's very hard to straighten it out. She had a very strong will to live her life her way, hats off to her for that! 🎩👍👏

I don’t find her affair and subsequent marriage to Anthony Ray at all scandalous. He was there when Nicholas Ray was putting her through Hell and Anthony was probably sympathetic to her and developed an emotional tie to her. He was not her son. Emotional ties can often develop into sexual affairs. And that is what happened.
