It’s amazing to see someone post that it’s NOT always 💯 shine and rainbows at Disney. Little kiddos, big feelings, and lots of stimulation. Moments like these are REAL. Thank you for sharing!!

Now THIS is why you’re one of my very favorite creators. It’s how real you are with us. That’s honestly the thing that makes these all the more helpful. We can prep all we want for these trips, but it’s the solidarity in seeing someone else deal with the emotions and stress and working with each other on how best to manage the not magical moments that makes these videos so helpful. Thank you for always being brave enough to show your way through it. ❤❤❤ much much love from my little corner of the internet

Moms are 100% allowed to feel hard emotions and it makes you an even better mom showing your kids that expression is a healthy part of being human

My mom meltdown today was not Disney related but tears of fear and joy as 3 days before our planned Disney trip, I have found out I am unexpectedly pregnant. I already have my 2 yr old son at home and to be completely honest I feel so overwhelmed with just him so the thought of another baby had me crying on the way to work this morning. Social media has us moms wanting to live up to this unrealistic expectations and then if we don’t, we feel like failures. I promise you that you are doing better than you think you are. You have no idea how much it means to see another mom not be perfect even if it’s only for 2 minutes. Moms are human too, we have emotions and breaking points. I can promise you’re doing a lot better than I am right now 😅 keep up the work girl, whether the day went as planned or not, it’s great content!

I’m so glad you shared such a raw and real moment. Our entire trip was like this unfortunately. Twin toddlers just learning how to walk was completely exhausting and we had such high hopes for that trip. We will try again when they’re older but that will be a trip I’ll never forget 😭

So as a dad who tends to overreact and feel “too much all at once,” this totally got me. Thank you for letting us see how real and genuine you are and know that we appreciate it. It gives me renewed hope and belief that our upcoming trip with little ones will be filled with of ups and downs, but filled with lasting memories.

I’m a year late- trying to prep for our Christmas trip, and I cannot thank you for the realness of this video! I always watch these moms who seem like they have it all together and wonder what the heck am I do wrong?? But this is so helpful to see someone else break down a little! ❤ So thank you for sharing this moment!

Thank you for being real and showing that it's not always perfect and happy. I know my Bella will have meltdowns at the park, and both of us will become overwhelmed. This was a great reminder to breath and let us both just feel what we feel. Thank you!

Awww Mama❤ If you’ve ever taken kids to Disney and not had this feeling you’re in a very small percentile! You are amazing and I LOVE that you filmed this because I think people watch vlogs and think why is my day so much different than their days? Thank you for sharing this and thank you for reminding us days like this are going to come when you have a little people with you.🥰

I want to thank you for including your vulnerability in this video, along with your kids having meltdowns, crying, etc. My daughter has only been to Disney 3 times in her 5.5 years of life. But let me just say that I had to physically pick her up, while she was screaming, crying, thrashing, even scratching her father and I at HS before (when she was 2.5). We were stared at by other families and I was SO humiliated, emotionally exhausted and just DONE with the day/vacation. I couldn't help but cry uncontrollably, right there in the middle of the park, because I had just had enough. I remember saying "why is this happening to ME and not other families?!" It was the worst feeling. So thank you so much for including this.

Thank you for being vulnerable. It is tough being a mom sometimes. We all feel it and Disney trips are a lot of pressure. It’s not just like any other day because you’ve spent hundreds of dollars and hours of planning to make that a special day. You imagine it’s going to be perfect but at the end of the day we are just imperfect humans doing the best we can.

Toddlers are hard, no matter what you do sometimes they just are not gonna be happy. It does make you feel like you can’t do anything right. We once came home from a holiday a day early because my 2 year old was just not happy at all, we’ve been there. Love your videos, never apologise for being real xxx

Thank you for being so vulnerable. Taking little ones to a theme park is tough and you are allowed to have a moment. Your husband is awesome for giving you space to compose yourself. We took our then 1.5 year old and 4 year old to all 4 Disney parks 10 years ago. It was miserable with a few highlights. I was too traumatized by that experience, and we just started going on Disney cruises which we love. This year is the first year we are braving the parks again, and I’m excited. I now have a teenager and pre-teen so I feel empowered.

I know you probably won't see this, but I just wanted to say do not ever apologize for crying in a video. I don't even have children, and I absolutely LOVE your videos! I love that you are real and actually show life instead of trying to be perfect and fake. So many people try to create this feeling of a perfect day, but there is no such thing as perfect. Life is going to happen, and it's unpredictable. Even I have stressful days while in the parks, and, as I said, I don't even have kids. Events happen and you just have to show those emotions to let the feelings out. You are an awesome person and do an awesome job!!

Aww this made me cry! I’ve been watching your videos nonstop for the past few days as we’re getting to have a huge family trip to Disney, and I’m already so nervous about bringing my 7-month old and my stepson who’s never been on a trip with my family before. As someone who takes a lot of pride in planning trips and feels broken when something doesn’t go to plan even though I KNOW the most important thing is hanging out with my family, I totally resonate with your feelings of feeling like a failure when your hard work blows up in your hands. But your statement of “I had a good cry, I’m going to pick myself up and still look forward to Fantasmic” is probably the best tip for me out of all of your videos! Thank you for sharing, there was a purpose to this after all ❤❤❤

Kids will not always cooperate and if you need to have a good cry then you absolutely should. You are human and you have feelings just like anyone else. We all have bad moments/bad days. You're such a good mama, it's evident from your vlogs. You deserved 2 cookies. ☺️. Disney is overwhelming and over stimulating even for adults. Thank you for sharing Bella and Lucy with us. They are such a joy to watch. My daughter (6) comes running when she hears me watching your videos. Also, when my daughter was 2.5, she was just tall enough to go on 7 dwarfs, then 2 days later, she just missed the height minimum for slinky dog. It's crazy how it changes. I'm so glad the rest of your day went better.

This just got me so emotional.. I discovered you about 2 months ago and I’m so glad I did. I’m a mom of 2 (3 year old and 5 month old), and have been planning a trip to Disney with them. Went last year with just our then 2 year old and I wish I had knew of you then. You have been the most help ever, thank YOU. Sharing the good and bad helps more than you’d ever imagine- We go through the stress and hectic-ness with our 2 kids just every day in life, and I know when we put so much pressure on things going perfect it seems absolutely terrible when things don’t go perfect. Thank you for sharing the raw reality. It wouldn’t be a day with toddlers if there wasn’t crying, screaming, tantrums and stress 😅 Keep it up, mama! You’re doing amazing!

UGGH Ashley!!!! My mama heart goes out to you. It is so refreshing to see your melt down ( I mean that in the best way I promise! 🫶🏽) because I do all the things I get the naps in bring the favorite snacks, hold, rock, sing, play and still sometimes it’s not enough for my baby. It makes me feel not alone and whoever tells you that you’ve failed is clearly not a real parent. Kids will be kids. And you’ve done everything in their best interest. YOU are seen. YOU are loved 🤍🙂

13:23 - This helped me. I planned my family's trip (my first since I was 19) last March and I tried to make it perfect for everyone. I personalized it for all 7 of my party... and the whole time (especially at MK) my husband and preteen whined and complained. It was hard not letting it ruin the mood. But now, I'm planning a girls trip with my littles and their grandmother, and aunt... It should be better this time!

I feel you when it comes to “emotional mama at Disney “ in 2016 I took my two girls ages 4 months and a year at the time ( we now have 3 girls) it was a blast best day we had till the last hour our 4month old became very clingy and my 1 year old lost her bottle ( it was some how the only 1 we brought with us that day and it was pushing 10 pm) the husband and I had a fight over it all and just left …. If you can take that moment fine a turkey leg find a solution to the problem at hand the magic is there even in the bad parts

Thank you for showing the low moments. Little kiddos can be so unpredictable and it’s so challenging when you’ve set up a plan. I’ve been that mom, devastated that all the hard work wasn’t accepted by the kiddos as I planned so I see you too! Love seeing that these moments are real and that a rough moment can get back on track to enjoy the rest of the evening. Thank you!

I see you, mama. I hear you, mama. You are doing the best you can, and it shows! Disney without kids is stressful and you are literally rocking it! Seeing you vulnerable makes it real. These are REAL LIFE tips, and tricks to taking your toddlers to Disney. Thank you for sharing! ❤️💕

So grateful for this video! I have so many memories of going to Disney with my parents (who have sadly both passed away) and I’m putting so much pressure on myself to make everything perfect for my first trip with my 2 year old in February. I know that there are SOOO many things that I cannot control for my trip, but I just want it to be magical. I keep prepping my husband for the possibility that there will be a lot of “unmagical” moments like the one you shared (he’s not a big Disney fan like me, so when the going gets rough, he will likely get frustrated quickly). Thank you for sharing your vulnerable moment so that others can see even the people who know exactly how to plan the perfect trip have crappy moments. I’m enjoying all your videos and tips and love watching them to prep for my own adventure! ❤❤❤

I soooo appreciate the realness of this vlog. Disney is not always magical. There are a lot of times when it’s far from it and people need to know that! I struggle when things go sideways when we’re there too because I feel like we spend all this money and time making it amazing and perfect in our heads and then something crashes and burns lol but THAT’S OK! I’m sorry you didn’t have a great dinner, but I am appreciative that you picked up the camera showed the other side of Disney and kids too. ❤

I have this video on and am feeding my son cheerios as damage control because nothing else was stopping him from screaming crying. When you were upset and said “I see you”, I felt like maybe I wasn’t failing. Thank you. We are taking him to Disney in a few months and I have a feeling I will be right where you were at least once. It helps to know I won’t be alone. Thank you so much!

THANK YOU for being SO real in this video!! I am taking my 2 and 5 year old to Disneyland this weekend and I am pretty anxious about it! I have been binging your videos lately and I love how upbeat you are, but this video really struck me because mom life is tough!! So happy the turned around for you and your sweet family - thanks for all the encouragement, felt like you were speaking right to me! ❤

Love that you shared this. Sometimes you gotta have a good cry even at Disney World. We couldn't even get through our first course at Ohana from a meltdown with our youngest. I left Ohana in complete tears (matching family outfits and all) and felt SO alone. No one came to me to tell me they have been there. So I'm here to tell everyone else, I've been there, and it sucks. BUT the good outweighs the bad ❤️

Loved this video. This is how it really is. The end was my favorite tho. 😂 “That’s because you woke her!” They’re always so surprised when that happens. 🤣🤣 And the car alarm! Ha! Thanks for being real and still giving us tips! 🥰

Ashley this is so relatable! Thank you for sharing a moment of vulnerability. The first time we went to Disney with no restrictions on meet & greets, I scheduled a LL to meet Olaf at 4:30p. I saw the others were an hour window and didn’t double check my LL and see that he was done at 5. We showed up at 5:15 and he was gone, and my son cried & cried because all he wanted to do was meet Olaf that day. I felt like the biggest failure. We all have those moments. You are an amazing Disney mama, and we thank you for showing the good, bad, and ugly parts of Disney because let’s be honest - it’s not always magical with two toddlers! 😅

Girrlllllll you are not alone! Whether at WDW or somewhere else, all the planning in the world does not block bad days from happening. I’m sure most of us have had similar moments at Disney. Most importantly, you’re a great team with the girls and you managed to end on a high note. I have got to get one of those cookies next time 🍪🌟👏🏼

I totally appreciate you sharing the “real” side! As much as we want it to be, not every moment at Disney with little ones is easy! It helps to see real moms sharing the real struggles. Also, what is it about HS?!?! Both my kids had epic meltdowns last time we were there.
