I remember listening to Tech and Hollywood undead back in 5th grade and I always promised myself one day just one day they will make a song together and I’m 24 now and they freaking did it... and it’s amazing Rip uncle John who introduced me to Tech when I was only 6.

As I was hearing this song it made me remember why I like the band so much the strength and emotion behind your voices and the diversity you guys have in sound even if it doesn't always work out is amazing

I remember listening to bitches when I was 12. That was how I was introduced to HU. I grew up listening to Swan Songs and American Tragedy day after day just blown out of my mind with how diverse this band is. They can make you happy, sad, pumped, hopeful, and want to party. I’m 22 now and still to this day pray they come back to San Antonio Tx after covid fucks off. I love every single thing about this band.

been listening to HU since i was 5. I grew up with it, on in the car, on the home stereo, listened to it through a divorce, in and out of homes, still listened when I finally found a stable one. I know every song lyric for lyric, I can tell which song it is usually by the first 2-3 seconds :) the band has kind of been a staple of my life. I’m 16 now and I’ll always support you guys, can’t wait to listen to this song and whatever else that is to come. thank you guys, a lot.

This sounds like its about a drug addict father. The first verse is the kid who endured a lot at the hands of it. The hook is the father telling his son that he "ain't his idol." I cannot save you son. I ain't no savior. Not realizing all he has to do is be there. Look at the last verse. It sounds like the father directly talking to his son. Looking at me, what do you see? A vision of something that you'll never be could be the inverse, he sees his son rising above the problem and he knows he's going to the grave never having helped save his own kid.
