Hollywood Undead does have a very crass/hood/gangster/frat-boy style in a lot of their songs, but they've also always had this very serious, bitter streak in their albums that grabs at some really deep issues in our society. They touch on family issues, faithfulness, loyalty, trust, betrayal, and the worth of a life. And honestly, that's what keeps me hooked on their songs.

HU deserve more recognition than they have already but I strongly believe that someday they will be recognized as being among the world’s most talented rock bands though in my heart, they are already that♥️ #UndeadArmy

I don't revisit many Hollywood Undead songs nowadays, but this one has some sense of sincerity that most of their tracks may or may not have.

I never thought the day would come where I would relate to a song so much... I used to listen to this song on repeat whenever I felt sad, I'd say 3 to 4 years ago. If I felt angry, betrayed, hurt, I would just play this song to give me comfort- like a warm hug when you need it the most. If I didn't have my phone on me, I would just sing it to myself, and it gave me the reassurance I needed. I'll keep this short, but I learned that you could look at the closest people in your life like complete strangers, complete liars. I grew up a lie, I grew up believing lies, my life until now is just a lie. My parents aren't who I thought they were, my sisters have lied to me for a decade, and it really sucks when things hit you all at once. My father and mother got divorced, and as much as I love my dad, he did some pretty messed up shit that I don't believe even now. I'd just like to put it out there that Hollywood Undead has kept my shit life intact for as long as I could remember, and have honestly saved my life. Now, I am trying to come back to this song to find some peace of mind once again.
