Back in the days where my mom would say No to everything I suggested to her. THEY HAD ZELDA MAJORAS MASK GODDAMN IT! It was the golden cartridge with the cool holo effect on it. But my mom always said “No” -.- Those days I would get scared for my life everytime I saw A chucky VHS or a Friday the 13th VHS case. It was 2005. I remember because the Charlie and the chocolate factory movie just released and there would be Willy wonky bar movie promotions at the store at the time. We used to rent Spider-Man 1 and play a lot of N64 and PS2 games. 2005 was so cool.
I absolutely loved and still miss video rental stores but imo, being able to get tons of movies straight to your TV is probably objectively better, and of course more convenient.
"May I see your Hollywood Video rental card?" **has vague, old fogey memories of watching my mom rent movies with me with those heavily-laminated cards**
That is why gen x and older millennials are aligned with me when it comes to growing up with Hollywood video before gen z became a generation of watching live stream movies.
I remember when I was a little boy 👦 my mom 👩 used to always take me to the video store to get movies like barney and blues clues and caillou and sesame street and little bill and it brings back memories from my childhood days when I was little and I'm going to be getting some more boxer shorts for me to sleep in for Christmas 🎄 and some wii games 🎮 baseball ⚾️ and some Michael jordan books 📚 😊 😀
open a new DVD (if u can still find one). It smells like walking into a Hollywood Video. I just realized that 2 days ago. and now im here on this vid.... go figure.
I don't know why people think Redbox is better when Hollywood Video had more of the Classic Older Movies that Redbox doesn't have all they do is Movies that are just realeased as for Hollywood Video and Blockbuster they both Sold Movies That You Couldn't Find in Redbox unless it was a new Movie being made.
Very clever and funny, BUT, it seemed like you went two different places with this film... The guy working there, does he actually work there? In the beginning he just seemed like a bored prick, which worked, then he turned out to be a thief...so was it all written at once, or changed? Afterall, the customer walked behind the counter and should have seen the other robbers :D Everyone's a critic :D great video guys!
