The artistry is on another level! This is exquisite. Also pay attention to the quality of the mannequins facial features. She’s also very beautifully done which tells you THIS is an expensive doll head with very high quality human hair. It wouldn’t look like that otherwise. Gorgeous!
Beautiful style and great video 💖. This is the correct technique and process to achieve these Hollywood waves. She's using a controlled heat setting on the straightener to not burn the hair and the curler won't be frying pan hot to get the curls. The key element is letting the curls cool down which is why she pins them. The hairspray is used correctly, at the roots and then throughout whilst styling the curls in place. She also uses it at a distance and not directly on the hair The mannequin has perfect hair, nice density, length and no damage so ofc it comes out this way. To achieve this on a real person you will need to carry out a detailed consultation to look at the clients hair. Preparing is key, maybe the client needs a conditioning treatment, haircut, maybe even add hair extensions to give volume. This style can definitely be achieved to this high level using the technique in this video. I love it and I'm super impressed 🔔 💕.
@@lasenoritacometa1977 I wondered as well my hair is pretty wavy naturally and holds curl till I wash it out and still have some left...I can literally curl my hair with my fingers... but if I straighten it first .... ugh no waaaaay. It won't do anything but stay straight until I get humidity. I have a Bob rn I cut my hair myself. And I have to blow dry straight then straighten with iron to get it smooth and super straight. It's a lot of work. But wow this is far worse. The grabbing at the root bothered me as well. As Client I'd be pissed my hair was being pulled as well as damaging from grabbing with the iron pulling strands. I'm not understanding that technique and I did take a first class for cosmetology. (Dropped out bc my teacher was super snooty if you weren't in the clique she hated you) but I did take the first half of the courses Btw I'm not saying by any means this isn't amazing work or that I could do better... I'm just wondering why the pulling and straightening. Everyone has their own techniques.
This is how I visioned my wedding hair.. needless to say it wasn't. That was many of many moons ago. However my point is, this hairstyle will NEVER go out of style. Great workmanship. Absolutely a hair artist. Bravo to you.
@@Lia-ij4mg when I explained this old Hollywood big waves, it came out completely different. My hair still came out beautiful, just not as voluminous. It's hard to explain this exact look without a picture. Back then, I couldn't find a picture like this.
went & found all the products used for anyone wondering! - schwarzkopf osis dust it powder - schwarzkopf silhouette super hold spray - londa professional fix it spray - redken wax blast 10 finishing spray
@@emmanebony dust it is a matte powder for volume n texture notice she applies a tiny bit at roots. Spray is Strong hold finishing Spray. Fix is a professional quick-drying strong hold spray, which: holds but also brushes out easily. It’s setting spray.
I’d Love to know the List of products to include the stuff she sprinkled in her hair to make it appear thicker and also the serum or gel looking stuff she pumped out the bottle and rubbed through the curls and it kept it shiny ✨ wavy n bouncy love???? She does a beautiful job

Wow very time consuming but the way you placed the curl waves is art!! I watched to see maybe I could do my own hair that way but it is too hard. Beautiful
I came across your channel a few weeks ago, I’m a hairstylist and I’d like to follow different people to try to learn new things and I love it. I was looking at Glamour waves while I was waiting between clients and came across this tutorial and I recognized how you move your hands and then sure enough I looked and it was you it’s nice to be known for a signature style! Love it
Not only is the hair Amazing, the mannequin is beautiful, very expensive!! Your styling is an art, even the pinned curls were uniform and precise!! from one hairdresser to another, you did amazing!!
Beautiful on the mannequin. If you do this on your hair, DO NOT apply heat 3x!!! You will burn your hair!! Just curl it with a heat protectant that has hold like hairspray. Clip it until it has cooled completely. The back combing should be gentle too. Shampoo this style out or be very gentle combing it out. Don’t rip through the hairspray and back combing. Be kind to your hair!! Mannequin hair is usually made from strong asian hair that has been bleached. It tolerates heat well and tends to be straight. Straight hair has a round shaft which lends to its strength.
my hair is straight and hardly shaped and even I don't apply too much heat on my hair because it immediately ruins it. actually it's been a year without shaping my hair like that. it's not really worth the effort & time.
Very beautifully each and every step shown 👏👏👏 really appreciate that. None of the artists will show hair preparation and sectioning. Kudos and thanks a ton to you 💗
Truly GORGEOUS! You are super talented! Can you please give us a list if the products used like the powder, curling iron and sprays? Thank you sooo much!
This is what I do when I go swing dancing. It's actually very quick. I don't straighten first with the flat iron bc that actually prevents the hair from curl volume so it's counterintuitive. You don't need to be quite as meticulous in the afterplacement. You just need a bristle brush to comb through the curls gently (look at old pincurl tutorials and you will see what I mean)- apply a balm to roots and any babyhairs- then hairspray. Done. I sometimes put alligator clips in the S wave in the front on my drive to the location. It takes 10 minutes. I let it set for 30 while I do makeup. Easy.
I studying and training with your tutorials… ❤️ I want to do your course and take classes … Do you use any specific product for hair preparation? Do you do a traditional blowdry before ironing and texturizing? What brand of powder and spray do you use in the video and the pin?
Hi) all my products: - schwarzkopf osis dust it powder amzn.to/3RbjyPp - schwarzkopf silhouette super hold spray amzn.to/3UDDCgs - londa professional fix it spray - redken wax blast 10 finishing spray
Oh wow, beautiful work. I just wish you would have shown the final result, 360° view of the head. It would have been nice to see how the back turned out, also how the curls held up a few hours later. Great work tho!
Love the technique how you leave the curls cool off, but result looks crinkly probably even feels crunchy, not trendy right now, but for photo great 👍🏻
I love how this was shown on DAMAGED HAIR! Because my hair was bleached and dyed, and my hair can look like crap if I just go in an start with a flat iron without prep work! Also it won't hold my style if I don't prep it properly first!
Be sure to stimulate your scalp gently when you brush your hair. It will encourage new hair growth and prevent product build up on your scalp. When new clients with damaged, color treated hair would come to me these were some of the things their hair dressers didn’t know to tell them. I studied hair loss because it was a problem I suffered from. I still fight it but now my hair is down to my waist even though it is very light blonde. I also wrap it into a bun every night with screw pins. They don’t leave dents in the hair like regular hair pins and your hair has a beautiful wave the next day with no heat. Hope this helps you. Have a blessed week!
When you wrap the hair around the barrel, do you twist as you wrap, so that it remains flat? Or do you let it twist as you wrap? Thank you for this informative tutorial.
Twist it when is goes round the bottom as this gets the finger waves, that's what these are called( very popular in 1920s), I did this alot last year when I did my first year in hairdressing level 2
@@felicianocapicia Yes That’s A Total 1 Inch. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I Stand Corrected That’s What I Was Trying To Say & I Wrote 1/2 😭😭😭 Anything Above 1 Inch Mostly Straightens. My hair is super soft and pin straight it could never look that Beautiful! It can’t even hold a curl with a ton of products. Maybe I am using the wrong ones. Love the final look!❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻
I mean the hair is real on the mannequin but it is different to do hair on an actual person in terms of hiw it may end up looking on the person since faceshapes and what not play a role in how "good" the style looks on different people
keymeko95 Also, the hair on a real person has a living persons oils on it as well. The hair IS different because of that. Also, people are living their electrical field, aura and magnetic qualities also affect the hair too. Vast difference. Beautiful hairstyle.
Absolutely beautiful. I didn’t understand the use of the two different flat irons first and the extra heat on the hair. Still the end result was gorgeous.
Ната милая, спасибо за щедрый видео урок.... Могли бы вы под данной видео написать, какие именно стайлинги вы использовали в данной причёске. Пожалуйста напишите название. Спасибо заранее!
Dang! You are GOOD! I can't curl hair to save my life! That's why I am watching these videos to try to learn. At 61 yrs. old, I am still trying. Pretty sad.
This is what our grandmothers referred to as, "going to the hair dresser's to get my hair 'set'." This needed to be done in a salon by a professional & is a completely lost art because today's women wouldn't stand for the time & money it costs to go twice a week to haven't his done. My mother used to go every Wednesday & Saturday to either have this done or to get her hair put up in a REAL french twist, & she was GORGEOUS - taught me everything I know about liquid eye liner, penciled-in eye brows & false eye lashes. She wouldn't even run to the grocery store without full make-up.
This is a classic 'do, but I would like to know what the point was to use 2 different flatirons before curling & also backcombing before the curl iron? And is that texture spray wax or hairspray in the aerosol can?
Hello, in this video I'll show you how to create a beautiful Hollywood wave. To start, we section off fairly large areas, and I begin straightening the hair, which may intimidate some people. They don't understand why I straighten the hair, but it's a very important step to make the wave turn out perfectly beautiful and smooth. Next, I crimp the hair at the roots with thin strands to create a uniform, beautiful volume at the root. I process the whole head step by step. Then, I highlight the bottom row and add pump spray from Schwarzkopf, and then I separate the strands and start curling them. My curling iron is 28 mm in diameter, but you can also use 32 mm or alternatively 25 mm. I place the curling iron under the strand and curl it using the ribbon-twist method. I specifically use liquid hairspray before curling to help my strands hold longer. Initially, I divide the head into three large zones so that I also have a lot of hair in front of my face. I start working through the strands from the bottom row, brushing over the Redken wax spray. Below, I brush through the strand so that it holds its shape; you can also do this with hair powder. I use Londa 2 hairspray for intermediate fixation of the strands, but in the end, I always fix everything with liquid hairspray from Schwarzkopf. I direct the hair at the face towards the face and tuck the less voluminous side behind the ear. In the bangs area, you can use small invisible hair pins to help it hold all day.
Cuanto trabajo!!! Primero alaziarlo luego enchinarlo luego ponerle pasador a la onda, hasta me dio sueñoooo y pensar que yo así me despierto a si me hizo mi creador😉👍
